At Prescott High, there's one heart you can’t shatter—unless you're one of them: The Havoc Boys. They are my found family, my redemption, and my future. For us, victory has always meant escape. It used to be about graduation and a one-way ticket out of this town. But everything has changed. This yea...

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh,...

Too much politics! I read to escape from everything else going on and the constant political opinions inserted into every chapter ruined this series for me. I feel that this author used an opportunity to express her political views through internal monologue rants that didn’t flow with the story. It was almost like she was looking for an opportunity to push her views into every aspect of the story through the main character. I’ve notice in the past few of her books she has does this, but this on...

Well... I finally finished the conclusion of the Havoc boys series!! It took me a whopping 8 days to get through it, as life just seems way too busy right now to have anytime to read!

I did enjoy the conclusion, although there were certain things that happened that were so tragic that I wish they hadn’t!
On the whole though, this was a wonderful wrap up to an amazing series!

...and I cried.I did. For these characters. For these kids.I feel I truly appreciated these characters for what they’re worth, which makes me happy. What really did me in was Victor’s grandmother’s letter. I cried. And I loved this story. It was messy and ratchet and bloody. And it was beautiful in its own way.I went back and forth a lot on whether I liked Bernie’s character, and this last book really sold it for me. She’s one of my favorites now. Spoiler ahead: when I thought she had actually die...

⭐️⭐️okay. what the actual fuck?? how did we go from 4 amazing books.... to this???? I’ve never wanted to finish reading a book so much in my life. Not because it was incredible and i needed to know how it ends. but because i was so bored that i needed it to end before i hit my head into a wall.first off, did anyone forget that the Havoc crew was from south PRESCOTT???? Because i sure as fuck didn’t with how many times we were reminded. I get that it’s in the title of each book....... but in case...

Ok so I struggled with this book. I personally feel this series should have stuck to the 3 planned original books. I feel cm made it into 5 because she could. Let’s start with what I liked..... errrrrm Aaron, Heal and Cal. The funny moments. That’s about it. What I didn’t like. The fact cm stole a setting from another series of books! Callie rose is the author of the oak valley prep series, there is controversy around this series, but the level of bullying towards this author reaches into this s...

Too much politicsI love love CM and her writing style. This books was a wonderful ending to a phenomenal story but I seriously struggled to finish the story. There were several times throughout the story I wanted to stop reading because the politics were just too much. I agree with several other reviewers that I feel that so much of the book was focused on pushing present day politics. I read to escape the real world which I’m sure many other readers do as well and unfortunately this book did th...

Ugh...I feel like every time I read one of C.M. Stunich’s novels, I have the same pros and cons.Pros:* Ridiculously fun, wholly unbelievable, but engaging plotlines* Hot dudesCons:* Way too much time is spent on odd asides (like, why do we need paragraphs about the plastic straw debates that is supposed to be a character’s inner monologue), excessive time spent explaining concepts and the author’s research, explanation/reinforcement of jokes/zingers to make sure the audience understands how grea...

3 stars

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I had 2 issues that made me take off 2 stars. First, Bernadette’s character development. At the end, she truly became a bully. Not just someone righteously seeking vengeance, but an honest to god bully. It was painful to read. My other issue was the author’s constant need to politicize this book. Every other chapter had some unnecessary political statement. It was overdone and too much. It took away from the story instead of adding anything of value.
