Seriously messed up, but in a really, really good way. Ari was truly twisted, and I loved hating her. I wanted to smack her for being so mean to Timmy and for wanting certain people gone. The part where it said Ari wanted to scream again after the glass broke genuinely made me laugh. Take that, Ari😌Spoiler ahead. Don't read if you don't want to know....I'm serious, there’s a spoiler....Jack and David never knew what really happened, and that blew my mind. I noticed they mentioned Uriha in Chloe'...

Ari was seriously strange. I’m pretty sure I’ve met someone like that before (hopefully not crazy enough to poison anyone, though 😬). I liked Jack, but Timmy was the best character in "A King's Deceit: A Royal Obsession" by Julie Mannino, in my opinion. If you are looking for a quick fantasy book review, I'd recommend checking this one out!

I really enjoyed seeing how Timmy developed throughout "A King's Deceit: A Royal Obsession". That ending was totally unexpected, though! Overall, it's a fantastic story. I'm definitely curious to check out the rest of Julie Mannino's series now. If you're looking for a good book review to help you decide what to read next, check this one out!

Wow, I thought "A King's Deceit: A Royal Obsession" by Julie Mannino was absolutely gripping. Ari seemed so sweet... initially. The story kicks off with Ari and her brother, Timmy, helping someone make a getaway. King Jack lends them a hand and rewards them for their bravery. Timmy gets the chance to train as a guard at the castle, and Ari becomes totally fixated on Jack, though she plays it cool. The scheming begins, but I don't want to give too much away. Let me just say, the ending completely...

A truly wonderful book by Julie Mannino! Obsession masquerades as love, but it's a dangerous imposter, driving people to actions they'll later deeply regret. Speaking from experience, having been in an obsessive relationship myself, it's anything but a laughing matter.I adore how the author brought this story to life, and I wholeheartedly recommend "A King's Deceit: A Royal Obsession" to all romance novel aficionados. It serves as a powerful lesson about the destructive potential of obsession wi...
