Really enjoyed all the family characters in this one. Heldt really shows that Silas Bain is a ruthless rogue. It's totally believable that he'd steal a Time Machine and try to make his own fortune, instead of chasing leads to track down the Lanes. He's completely motivated by money in this book. I especially liked the ending of Crown City (Time Box, #5)—it does the whole story justice. 5 stars!

I'm really sad to see this series end. This is the final book in the Time Box series, and I've honestly loved every single one of John A. Heldt's time travel stories. All of his series, really. I've always been fascinated by time travel, but so many books go back to the Crusades or Ireland, and I just got tired of those same old stories. John A. Heldt gave us an entire family to travel with, and there was so much adventure, love (including family love), and even sadness. The only slightly negativ...

I absolutely love a good time travel novel, and John A. Heldt clearly knows his stuff. He weaves a twisting, turning tale in *Crown City (Time Box, #5)* that will both engage and enlighten you. Seriously, if you're looking for great book reviews about time travel, look no further.
This is the fifth and final book in the Time Box Series, focusing on the Lane family. Honestly, you really need to read these in order. You won't fully understand the backstory and how they ended up where they are in ...

I'm a sucker for time travel books, especially when they're steeped in history, and John Heldt never disappoints. This one, Crown City (Time Box, #5), had me completely hooked because I actually lived through a lot of what happens in the story. I was ten in 1960 and nineteen in 1969 – what an era! So much changed and happened during those years. It really brought back memories. This is the last book in the Time Box series, and I'm sad to see it end. I'm sure John A. Heldt has another great story ...

I've had the pleasure of spending some time with friends over the last few days. The Lane family, at least that's how it feels when I get to read one of John A. Heldt's books. *Crown City (Time Box, #5)* is the latest of his works, and it represents a couple of significant milestones: First, it completes the five-book series *Time Box*; second, this is the twentieth book he has written. Consequently, the twentieth title I have read by him.
Frequent readers of John A. Heldt's work will understan...

Two years after stealing the portable time machines from his deranged billionaire business partner Robert Devereaux, the Lane family has arrived in 1963 and settled in Coronado, California. The three oldest children (Jordan, Jeremy, and Laura) finally have some respite, allowing them to nurture their own relationships and start their families while putting down roots. The youngest, Ashley, can thrive and be a typical fourteen-year-old for the time, attending high school. There, she finds popular...

I've just turned the final page on the Lane family saga, and it's a bittersweet feeling. I was desperate to know what would happen to the Lanes, but I also didn't want it to end! *Crown City* delivered wonderfully, bringing closure for all the family members. This is just another fantastic series from John A. Heldt. I'm already looking forward to his next novels. For fans of time travel book reviews, this series is a must-read!

The finale is here!In this installment, the Lanes, Robert Devereaux, and his deranged inner circle reach the climax of their saga.Think back to your high school days, those freshman year moments when all you wanted was to fit in. If you were a young woman, you craved the attention of the older boys and the popularity that would surely follow if you caught the eye of, say, the star quarterback. If you were a young man, the desire to be the star athlete and win over that It Girl who ruled the scho...
