Okay, yeah, I totally binged "Impure Blood, Volume 4" on my tablet yesterday. When you're stuck playing phone/email/text tag, there's not much else to do! Besides, I was in a place where I could get away with it. So, this is a rating for all four volumes, and to be totally upfront, I backed this series on Kickstarter. The artwork in the "Impure Blood, Volume 4" series by Nadja Baer is absolutely stunning! If you're looking for a beautifully illustrated graphic novel, this is it. Definitely a top pick for art in comics!

This series was a real pleasure, and I'm happy I took the time to read it. Honestly, I wish it were longer and more fleshed out. The world Nadja Baer created in *Impure Blood, Volume 4* felt so rich, and it felt like we, as readers, were only getting a glimpse. This series is fantastic, and Nadja Baer is a super promising author duo that I'll definitely be following in the future. The imagery is stunning, and the story weaves through themes of vengeance, sacrifice, and what might be considered the greater good. It's a gripping read!
