I enjoyed "Impure Blood, Volume 2" more than the first book, but something about the tension within the group isn't quite clicking for me. I'm totally invested in the plot itself, but I'm getting increasingly irritated with all the secrets everyone's keeping. Hopefully, Nadja Baer reveals more soon, and these secrets will ultimately make sense; that would make this frustrating aspect worthwhile. Absolutely loving "Impure Blood, Volume 2"! You really start to get a sense of the widening gap between social classes, and even within the group dynamics themselves. That little mechanic they introduced is fantastic. Can't wait to dive into the 3rd book! Definitely a great read if you're looking for gripping book reviews.
