It felt a bit too drawn out. I'm not sure if it was all the side romances or something else, but it kind of dragged. Also, I'm generally not a big fan of overly flowery language when describing sex scenes. I prefer things to be a little more direct. As a heads up for romance book reviews readers, this might be a sticking point for some with Sherry Ewing's "For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)".

Now *this* is time travel done right! I absolutely devoured the first book in Riorden and Katherine's saga, a sweeping romance where eight centuries can't extinguish true love. Katherine's a thoroughly modern woman, and Riorden's a knight from England's storied past. They've seen each other in dreams, even shared unspoken thoughts, and you can't help but ache for them as they long to finally connect. When Katherine and her three closest friends are unexpectedly flung back through time, she and Ri...

I've read a few of Sherry Ewing's books and always find her stories utterly captivating. I'm a sucker for time travel romances, so the whole concept of time-hopping really drew me to this one. And let me tell you, "For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)" is a light, enjoyable read that just sweeps you away.Katherine and Riorden, our main characters, connect in their dreams, which I absolutely adored. The premise is fantastic, and Sherry Ewing tells it beautifully. Their story actually continue...

"For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)" is easily one of the best books I've devoured in ages. And it's not *just* because it toys with time travel—seriously, who isn't fascinated by the possibilities?—or even because it's steeped in 12th-century Britain. The real magic lies in Sherry Ewing's characters; they're so believable and easy to love that you're completely sucked into their world. You've got timeless love, massive hurdles, wars, and heartbreaking challenges, and you find yourself che...

I took a chance on Sherry Ewing, not knowing if I'd enjoy "For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)" or not. I usually steer clear of time travel books, but something about this one drew me in. I was a little hesitant at first, but I quickly found myself completely immersed in the world Ewing created. She did an amazing job of bringing this world to life and exploring its full potential. The writing is wonderful, and the imagery is stunning. The world-building and character development are both ...

❤️❤️❤️❤️Sigh❤️❤️❤️❤️This book seriously needs to be a movie! One minute my heart was melting into a big puddle of sweetness, the next I was laughing my head off. Katherine and Riorden, an English Knight ⚔️⚔️⚔️, fall in love through their dreams despite being 800 years apart. When Riorden prays for Katherine, she and her 3 best friends are pulled through time so Katherine and Riorden can finally be together. What follows is an incredible journey of love and friendship, especially since Katherine ...

This book revolves around four friends—the kind of friends you wish you had, so close they consider themselves sisters. Despite their youth, life has made them wary of love and romance. But Katherine, one of the four, is plagued by vivid dreams of a man she's never met, yet feels deeply connected to and has always loved. Of course, it wouldn't be much of a romance if she didn't actually meet him, would it? Sherry Ewing keeps you guessing about the when and how for quite a while. Then, when it f...

I'm so glad I gave "For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)" a chance. After not really clicking with the first medieval romance I read by Sherry Ewing, I wasn't sure if a time travel novel by her would be my thing. Well, I have to say, I absolutely loved this book! Sure, it's a little cheesy in places, but there's plenty to laugh about. Just imagine four modern women suddenly thrown back in time and trying to explain everyday things they're used to! It's thoroughly enjoyable. And, okay, yes, i...

I really wanted to love "For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1)" more than I did. The premise was great, and Sherry Ewing didn't go overboard with the magic, which I appreciated. I also liked that Katherine actively tried to change her future whenever she had a bad premonition. Riordan and the other guys were larger than life, though. I would've preferred a bit more realism – some humanity, some flaws – in the men and Katherine's friends. The instant language comprehension also bothered me a l...

I wasn't totally sold on For All Time (The Knights of Berwyck #1) by Sherry Ewing at first, and yeah, some bits were a tad cheesy. But honestly? I couldn't stop reading – absolutely loved it! If you're looking for a captivating historical romance novel, give this a try.
