A fantastic romantic and thrilling adult fairy taleWhen Rhys follows a trail of purple flowers that seem to have an addictive effect on him when he touches them, he finds himself pulled into a pocket dimension ruled over by Master Kalen, a sex-crazed fairy who owns a massive harem of naked human men. Kalen performs a variety of kinky sex games on them whenever he pleases. Thinking that every human desires sex, it's a shock to Kalen that Rhys *doesn't* desire it and can do without. However, Rhys ...

If you go down in the woods today, make sure you don’t follow the purple flowers, or any other color of flowers that you feel compelled to follow—and if a stranger appears and tries to stop you, listen to him, unless you're into the possibility of being drawn into a strange world of alternate sexuality. It’s doesn’t look good for Rhys, therefore, when he’s lured into the fairy harem of Master Kalen, where sexual ‘deviancy’ appears to be the norm—at first glance. A relationship grows between the ...

M/M fantasy romanceOverall, *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance* was a pretty enjoyable read, though I felt the descriptions were a little thin in places. Personally, I love really descriptive writing in fantasy, but I know that's not everyone's thing. I also really appreciated how Julie Mannino emphasized consent and trust in the kink/BDSM scenes. It offered a positive perspective on stuff that a lot of people automatically see as negative. That said, I did struggle to connect with Rhys and Kalen...

One thing I appreciate about Julie Mannino's writing is how she tackles contemporary issues, even within an ancient, magical world that remains consistent throughout her books. In "Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance," she explores topics like asexuality (the feeling of being pressured into sex by family or cultural expectations) and the anxiety and distress caused by the pressure to maintain a bloodline. It's a great read – I highly recommend "Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance" if you're looking fo...

PhenomenalThe latest book from one of my absolute favorite indie authors. I've always been hooked on Julie Mannino's writing style and her no-nonsense approach, but this one, *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance*, has become my favorite storyline yet! It even includes another cameo from Loki, which I totally adore. I also really appreciate that the asexual characters in *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance* were written by an asexual person; it really helps me understand more about something I don't p...

This story was everything I wanted it to be and everything that I never knew I needed!! Trust me that Julie Mannino's *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance* is almost, if not entirely, perfect. Seriously, if you're looking for a great book review to convince you to read *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance*, this is it!

Yes! Ace representation! As someone who's demisexual, this book grabbed me from the second I read the blurb and realized what it was about. It was even better with two Ace characters, and I loved all the steam without any actual sex. Finding a book with kinky aces is like finding a needle in a haystack. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy steamy scenes in books, but this was awesome.Kalen is the perfect dominant Ace twink. The part where he flips off Loki, and Loki says "anytime, anywhere," had me crack...

OMG, *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance* by Julie Mannino was absolutely PERFECT! The lure of the flowers, the harem dynamic, and Kalen's (initially secret) everything – I was completely hooked! As an asexual person, it was amazing to see two different types of asexual representation (one neutral, one sex-repulsed), and I loved that Rhys was biromantic, even though he leaned more towards men.King Nemyr reminded me of a few awful people I've had the misfortune of meeting. The scene where Kalen fin...

2/2.5 Stars.I think the kindest thing I can say about *Valentine: A Fairy Harem Romance* is that it tried? The premise (asexual yet kinky main characters) really intrigued me, but sadly, the book didn't deliver. The world-building felt like a jumbled mess, the Loki storyline seemed incredibly random, and the kink factor was just...meh. There was no build-up or tension in their scenes. I didn't get a sense of what they were getting out of it at all. Also, I seemed to have missed the part where the...
