This is hands down my favorite book in the Shadows of London series so far. The action, the chemistry, the *feels*—everything was next-level intense. I really appreciated how Ariana Nash wrapped up the 'M' storyline in Trial by Fire. It felt satisfying and well-paced.

And Dom, I still love you, but Kempthorne's POV chapters were *everything*. Seriously, Ariana Nash knows how to write a compelling villain. Trial by Fire is a must-read if you're looking for thrilling fantasy book reviews! 💘
