Percy's lost his memory. All he knows is his name, and that the wolf Lupa says he's a demigod. Trained to fight, Percy somehow reaches a camp for half-bloods, battling monsters along the way. But nothing feels familiar, except the name Annabeth. Hazel shouldn't be alive. Her past life was a disaster...

"The Five Habits of Highly Aggressive Women.""Welcome to Alaska. We're Beyond the held of the gods."Percy is back! It's time for Team Rome to do their part, and Percy teams up with two Roman demigods to carry out the next phase of the quest. *The Lost Hero* ended by revealing what had happened to Percy and Jason at the beginning, and we're continuing along the same plot. Things are back to being great: I like this a lot more than the first book."I can always smell demigods."Though the Jason-Pipe...

Notes: This is a story where boundaries truly matter, and transgressive misfits discover strength and a sense of self in demon-infested lands far beyond any border. Rick Riordan's *The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2)* expertly explores these themes. A really good read for those who enjoy adventure and mythology; definitely a great book review choice!

Rick Riordan has completely taken over my brain! I'm so hooked that even when I *want* to read something else, I just can't! I've been binging *Percy Jackson* books for nearly two months straight. You'd think I'd be bored by now. But NOPE!It's pretty obvious from the title that Percy's back in this one. When I first saw **The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2)** and knew nothing about Greek or Roman mythology, I thought, "A planet has a son?! How interesting!" 😂OVERVIEWWith no memories ...

4.5/5 Great book! It had a slightly slow start, but really picked up in the middle and delivered an EPIC ending! A fantastic read for fans of Rick Riordan and the *The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2)* series. Highly recommend if you're looking for exciting adventure books!

3.5/5 This is probably my least favorite of Rick Riordan's books in the Percy Jackson world so far. I think the overall story arc is definitely going in an interesting direction, but I just wasn't feeling "The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2)" as much as the others. It literally took me several attempts over a few months to actually finish it. I thought that, besides Percy, the new characters were a little…meh. And honestly, I didn't connect with the Roman camp and their mythology nea...

(A-) 83% | Very GoodNotes: A touch of sweet romance, a West Coast groove, and the instilling of pure grit: defy, persist, through muskeg, schist, and Amazon's delivery bliss.*Check out progress updates for detailed commentary: Progress updates:02/20/2023 - Chapters 1-4(1) I'm always fascinated by fictional brand spin-offs. Here, we've got a hybrid of Jack in the Box and Taco Bell called "Jack in the Crack."- Presumably a cheeky reference to the Liberty Bell's crack.(2) "[Percy] didn’t like steal...

Frank noticed that one person wasn’t kneeling. Percy Jackson, his sword still in hand, was glaring at the giant soldier.“You’re Ares,” Percy said. “What do you want?”Percy Jackson defying the gods since 2005! *lol* Seriously though, I MISSED MY BOY!!! XD I really enjoyed “The Lost Hero” but I’m afraid nothing beats Percy and Nico packed into one book. Sorry guys! It is what it is! Can’t help it! Those two just rock my world, and no matter how much I love Leo Valdez (And I really do!! <333) Pi...

Does the title mean we get to hear Percy telling the story again? PLEASE let it be so!Edit May 28: PERCY!!!!! *This girl tackles Percy in a hug* I love you! I’m so happy you’re back! And you remember Annabeth! That’s my favorite demigod hero! And you're already fighting those monsters. You are so much better than Jason! I love you PERCY!!!Actual Book Review: October 4thSo, I had this totally awesome book review written, but Goodreads timed out when I tried to save it. Hera or Gaea are being real...

Absolutely adored this book! SO much better than *The Lost Hero*. I felt more connected to the characters, and PERCY!!! He was in the book. I was seriously missing him! All of his wit and snarky comments were back, along with a whole bunch of ADORABLE thoughts about Annabeth, as he regains his memory. Definitely one of my favorites!! *The Son of Neptune* by Rick Riordan is a fantastic read! Now I need *The Mark of Athena*! If you're looking for exciting young adult fantasy book reviews, look no ...
