Okay, imagine Bridgerton meets The Bachelor, but with deadly games (kind of) AND TWO BROTHERS, plus a fairy world. LIKE, HELLO?! What kind of magical plot is that?! I was HOOKED. The only reason Sasha Peyton Smith's *The Rose Bargain* doesn’t get a full 5 stars is because I just didn’t feel the deep yearning I wanted to feel for the main characters. Still a fantastic read, highly recommend if you're looking for a good fantasy book review!

I absolutely LOVED "The Rose Bargain"!! The marriage competition for the prince, the diabolical queen, the historical setting and high society drama, the twists and turns, and the captivating blend of the human and fairy worlds? I was hooked on every single detail. AND THAT ENDING - seriously, I felt it all: swoon-worthy romance, SHOCK at the revelations, and utterly heartbroken by a certain plot point.I need to get my hands on book two of "The Rose Bargain" by Sasha Peyton Smith ASAP! This is t...

If I had to make a bargain like the characters in Sasha Peyton Smith's *The Rose Bargain*, I'd be asking for my money back. What *was* that? 🥲
This book definitely isn't for everyone, and while I get why some readers enjoyed it, I'm struggling to understand the hype. The writing and plot execution are seriously lacking. I know it's YA, but this felt juvenile even for that genre. It's clear the author had a specific idea for the plot, but the writing is messy, all over the place, and frankly, j...

2.5 stars.Let's kick this off with the few bright spots, because honestly, there weren't many. First off, the *idea* was cool, but the follow-through? Not so much. I dug the first half of "The Rose Bargain" by Sasha Peyton Smith; it had a fun, breezy feel, and if you squinted hard enough to ignore the romance, it was a pretty enjoyable read. I actually thought it was heading for a four-star rating because that first half hooked me. Marion Thorne totally stole the show as the best character, and ...

“When one makes a faerie bargain, one must be prepared to pay the price. There is one silver lining. I have nothing to lose.”

Upping this to a 4-star after letting it sit with me for a bit, because it's STILL fantastic. But, honestly, *Sunrise on the Reaping* has completely changed what I consider a 5-star read, so now I’m second-guessing everything. Okay, bye.
