My name is Vinna, and I’ve been keeping a lot of secrets. You would too if you’d experienced some of the weird shit I have: red-eyed monsters chasing me, strange markings appearing on my body, a power that crackles colorfully over my skin, and don't even get me started on the weapons I can conjure o...

Ivy Asher is addicted to chai, swearing, and laughing a lot (but not in a creepy, laughing alone kind of way). She loves the snow, books, and her family of two humans, and three fur-babies. She has worlds and characters just floating around in her head, and she's lucky enough to be surrounded by amazing people who supp...

2.5 I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's really hard to write good RHs. Did this series cut it? Well... It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good either. The characters were decent, the plot was okay, the writing was acceptable. It was all just kind of MEH. Still, I'll go on with *The Lost and the Chosen* series by Ivy Asher; it wasn't bad, and I am a teeny, tiny bit curious to see what's next.

Rating: 3 starsI f***ing love romance, but reading *The Lost and the Chosen* by Ivy Asher makes me really start to understand why some readers actively avoid the genre. Romance can ruin even the best characters, and I'm guessing that balancing strong heroines and mushy feelings is not something easily achieved in a fantasy romance. What works in this urban fantasy review:+ Vinna before meeting the boys+ The epic, mega awesomeness of her powers. Because who doesn't want blades literally shooting o...

I really enjoyed The Lost and the Chosen by Ivy Asher, and the main reason I loved this fantasy romance book was definitely the badass heroine. While the harem dynamic felt a bit out of the blue – I initially thought she'd stick with Lachlan and his crew, even though they were much older and one was her uncle – I still could have totally gotten into that idea! 😉 I'm hoping the male characters get a bit more depth in future books; they seem to laugh a lot at practically nothing. I'd love to see ...

Ehhhhhhhh.Let’s talk about The Lost and the Chosen by Ivy Asher.I read some reviews from my RHR fam. Loved them. Love y’all. I was super hyped for The Lost and the Chosen.Beginning:My initial thoughts had me all sorts of confused. We are first introduced to four men… who I THOUGHT were gonna be the harem.Yeah, I know they’re in their 40s, but I mean, there are A LOT of hot 40-year-olds, sooooo that wasn’t alarming. But then.....One says he’s her uncle and I’m thinking:SHE’S GONNA BE AN UNCLEFUCKER...

Yes it must be Christmas I am handing these 5 stars out like Quality Street This caught me totally by surprise! The feeling of coming across a great RH had me (internally) jumping for joy If you crossed the Redemption Saga with Gifted Connections, Ariel Kimber and The Veil Diaries then you'd get **The Lost and the Chosen by Ivy Asher**. Weird combo I know, but those are the feelings this supernatural fantasy romance gave me while reading it. It started out pretty epic. Vinna has a background of...

Help. I dont know what is up, but maybe i need to stop reading romances for a while... I think I'm either in a curmudgeonly mood lately, or I've read to many of these kind of books that my brain is just tired-and everything is overly cheesy to me. I mean so many things were bugging me. Mostly... I came to learn about magic and what I can do. Instead, I’m trying to untangle myself from useless attraction and mooning over why my uncle doesn’t care about me. I’ve been here for only a couple ...

I had rated this 3 stars, but then I remembered how much this chick likes to fight and kill people = I had to give it 4 stars. I’m a sucker for the mass murdering type of heroines.

At first, this book confused the heck out of me and I wasn't sure what to think. The guys she meets seem 'off' and the relationships forming there are obviously strained and uncertain. Yet there was something about Vinna that spoke to me and I wanted to know more about her and her strange powers - so I kept reading. Thank goodness I did! Around Chapter 15, the plot explodes and things really kick into high gear. Suddenly everything makes much more sense and the world these characters live in sol...

Six Stars. This was a gripping, addictive, amazing, entertaining, and overall wow, just wow, book that I read immediately the moment it landed on my kindle, and it took me only a few hours. The reason is just simply because the book would not let me go. I profoundly thank the author for this wonderful story and for not leaving a heart wrenching cliffhanger, which I am sure would have killed me in this instance.I don't even know where to start, maybe first by thanking my lucky stars for landing an...
