It's not bad, but I'm just not sure what the story's actually *for*. Is this supposed to be a Christian novel? I'm asking because after reading "The Hunted" by Julie Mannino, I'm left scratching my head. I'm all for thoughtful Christian fiction, but this one left me wondering about its purpose. If you're looking for Christian book reviews, I'd say proceed with caution on this one.

Honestly, not great. It felt like a kid wrote it. This book was suggested to me after I read something else, and I was so let down that *that's* what they thought I'd enjoy. As far as thriller books go, Julie Mannino's "The Hunted" really missed the mark for me. Definitely not one I'd recommend if you're looking for a suspenseful read.

Fantastic book! The sex scenes were scorching, and the two twists right at the end completely blindsided me. Cleverly plotted and brilliantly executed. Definitely check out "The Hunted" by Julie Mannino if you're looking for a suspenseful read with plenty of spice. A must-read for fans of thrillers and romance!

Interesting
The storyline in *The Hunted* was compelling and felt very real. It's a stark reminder that in some parts of the world, people still have to hide their homosexuality.
If Finley, the main character in Julie Mannino's *The Hunted*, was Nigerian, he could be labelled a criminal simply for being gay, and face a 14-year prison sentence.
I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of *The Hunted*.

Okay, so there's some spice in "The Hunted" by Julie Mannino, but honestly, it felt like a story about the main character facing his demons and discovering how strong he really is. I was totally hooked! It's one of those books that makes you want to sneak in 'just one more chapter,' even when you should be asleep. Definitely recommend it. 5 stars!

I read Thrall, so when I saw that "The Hunted" was an M/M romance too, I snatched it up as soon as it came out, and I wasn't disappointed. The prequel short story was great and made me love Finley as a character. He's an adult now in this one and travels to Camaday since he's still a drifter. He has a relationship in a town, but it doesn't work out, and the Earl's son, Travis, finds out about him. The Earl, Mark, also has a daughter named Bella. He won't let her go out anywhere without her broth...

Hoping there's more so Finley finds someone.
