Review to come when my soul re-enters my body and I remember how to human. In the meantime, here are some GIFs that capture my feels.
I'm completely overwhelmed; *The Hourglass Throne* was a freakin' masterpiece, even though parts of it absolutely wrecked me. A massive thank you and shout-out to K.D. Edwards for writing this book and completely ruining my life. Love you, babe! 🥰💞

Oh, so we're just going to casually change the trajectory of my life and then just screw off into the ether, leaving me a broken shell of a person? Okay...cool, cool, cool... HOW THE FUCK am I supposed to operate as a functioning member of society until MAY, K.D.!? EXPLAIN THAT TO ME. And you're telling me there's going to be SIX of these *shakes book violently* motherfuckers!? MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT. IT'S TOO MUCH GOOD. TOO MUCH JOY. This one put me well over the limit of how much amazingness I...

HELLO THE BRAND RUNE ADDAM DYNAMIC IS SO……

This whole book was insane, but my jaw genuinely dropped during the last scene. Their relationship dynamic is insane—polyamorous relationship reveal when?? K.D. Edwards, I have questions.

The writing in *The Hourglass Throne* by K.D. Edwards was, as usual, excellent. The plot was unpredictable and interesting, answering some questions while opening up new avenues for the rest of the series. This was also the book where Rune’s “secret” was revealed. It was well-executed, not entirely out of left field, yet still managed to surprise and move me. I particularly enjoyed the sections involving Zurah and the Tower, and I really hope what happened to him at the end isn’t irreversible.No...

This was a fantastic finale to the first trilogy of trilogies! None of my theories were right, lol, which I'm actually thrilled about. And honestly, I'd already given up on The Tower being behind the raid on Sun Court during my reread, so that wasn't exactly a surprise. Seeing Rune and Addam, and Brand, and the whole gang settling further into Sun Estate was a treat. Those parts offered some much-needed levity between the plot's rollercoaster ride. This book kicks off with a bang and doesn't rea...

With this first trilogy, K.D. Edwards carved out a unique and incredibly successful niche—adult urban fantasy that doesn't revolve around romance. The Hourglass Throne is the perfect conclusion to the trilogy, although plenty of plot threads remain open, and I am beyond excited for what's next. I'm in desperate need of book four... and five, six, and so on! All the elements that made the first two books so captivating are here, amplified. Edwards's writing style is compelling. The Hourglass Thr...

I devoured it in just two sittings, only pausing for a desperately needed but grudgingly taken sleep. The seamless blend of plot and world-building was truly impressive, though I do wish the character development hadn't been sacrificed for it. Also, a sneak peek or even a blurb for the next book would have been incredibly welcome. Goodness knows how long we'll have to wait before we encounter these Atlanteans again. If you're looking for fantasy book reviews, definitely check out K.D. Edwards' *...

"What do you lead, Rune Sun?"Rune Saint John's trial by fire started twenty years ago for him. It's safe to say The Hourglass Throne is the readers' first trial by fire. I mark periods of my life by the books I read. Snapshots of me flipping through pages in vivid technicolour settings are burned into my brain when other memories have faded. I think we all do it in one way or another. Those of us who are in love with stories and people made of pulp and ink. They are, as a character once describe...

I couldn't put The Hourglass Throne down!-It answered SO MANY questions while also opening the door for even more questions for the rest of the series. - We got:ACTIONDRAMASMOOCHESCRYINGTEARSBIG SADBIGGER...

Weaving together intricate politics, fast-paced action, and potent magic with the powerful themes of loss and found family, K.D. Edwards' Tarot Sequence blazes even brighter in The Hourglass Throne. Just when you think you've figured out where the plot is headed, he detonates another surprise or unveils a world-altering secret in his grand scheme. Don't miss out on this series. As a book review enthusiast, I'm eagerly anticipating where The Hourglass Throne takes us next.
