Speaking of awful books, I just remembered reading Karen Marie Moning's *The Highlander's Touch* earlier this year and completely forgot to mark it as 'read.' Honestly, this book feels like a rough draft, a practice run before she hit her stride with the Fever series (which I absolutely devoured). Okay, so she can write a steamy scene, but that's about the only thing this book has going for it. Wouldn't recommend it as a good romance book, that's for sure.
