4**** starsI grabbed another dark fantasy romance by Ariana Nash, and once again, she delivered a riveting, dark tale. I only reluctantly put it down, thanks to the lush, layered world and the captivating characters, not to mention all the twists and turns. Sadly, though, she still couldn't quite convince me of the characters' feelings. I think this was mostly because I needed her to slow down the pace in certain moments, because I needed *more* in those scenes. There were quite a few times wher...

TOTALLY WORTH IT. Okay, the beginning of **The Final Masquerade** is stronger than the ending, admittedly. But otherwise, I absolutely adore Ariana Nash's writing style in this book. And it threw in a plot twist that literally had me staring blankly at the wall for a solid five minutes. If you're looking for a gripping read with unexpected turns, definitely check out **The Final Masquerade** by Ariana Nash. This is a great pick for your next book review list!

Raoul's face turned serious. He frowned and grasped Brice's face in his hands. "Then make me the same vow. You're the light in the dark, Brice. You're the beat of my heart. I'd surrender time itself to spend every moment with you. You make me worthy. You make me someone I can admire, someone I can love. You're my mirror and through you, I see all the good I could be."Brice choked on a sob. "You don't need to be anyone but yourself." This book right here put me through *all* the emotions... bu...

3.5 StarsTold from dual perspectives (though mostly a single POV), in the third person, this book works perfectly well as a standalone. This was my first time reading Ariana Nash, and I really enjoyed it. There was something lyrical about her writing, and the world she created felt magical; you could easily picture it in your mind. It was so beautiful, even though it was all a big lie! Haha! The world-building was fantastic. I’m not usually one to breeze through a 520-page book (especially fanta...

"Brice clutched him closer and dug his nails into Raoul’s back. Almost a thousand nights he’d dreamed of this and a thousand days he’d denied himself the truth. He loved Raoul. He loved the obnoxiously flamboyant way he demanded everyone watch him, the way he laughed when he shouldn’t, the way he sketched Brice with all the feeling and heart he’d denied himself. He was the dancer trapped in the music box, and by God, Brice would burn it all down to set him free." 🖤Beautifully written! "The ...

Okay, let's be real: "The Final Masquerade" by Ariana Nash is a *heavy* read. No sugarcoating it. The plot basically boils down to two missions: 1. Rescue the bonehead brother. 2. Save Raoul. These two things are happening simultaneously, but honestly, it felt like one long, drawn-out mission. That's why I'm landing on a 3.5-star rating. This could have been *so* much tighter. 🤣🤣 So, mission #1 is all about world-building, unraveling the mysteries of the ball and how it all works. The aut...

5 sparkling stars! ✨ Ariana Nash is an auto-buy author for me; she’s one of the few I trust completely to take me on an adventure I'll never forget, to make me fall in love with her wonderful characters… but also to scare the living daylights out of me at some point. Considering Ariana Nash's penchant for series and shorter, cliffhanger-ridden books, the length of *The Final Masquerade* came as a surprise. 520 pages of gloriously twisted fantasy goodness? Yes, please. But sure enough, I feel li...

"It began with love, the tales tell. And love ended its curse. But love never truly ends, and neither does the masquerade. Listen on the wind on the longest night, listen hard, and you might hear its call. Come, it beckons, take my hand, come with me, to the masquerade ball…" Okay, if you've read my reviews before, you know I'm a huge fan of Ariana Nash. I adore her imagination, her stories, and her writing style. So, it's pretty much a given that The Final Masquerade was going to be a 5-star...

**I was provided an e-copy of *The Final Masquerade* by Ariana Nash (and I am ever so thankful for that!) in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.** “The masquerade is a beautiful lie upon a lie. Nobody wants to be faced with the ugly truth of their insignificant lives.” ✅ Mysterious atmosphere ✅ Cruel faes and magic✅ Smut (M/M) ✅ Pace✅ Plot ✅ Angst❗️❗️ Trigger warnings: suicide, non-consensual sex, sexual relationship with multiple partners, and physic...
