3.5 StarsWhat a pleasant surprise and truly enjoyable read! Rhea Watson's *Reaper's Pack* is a reverse harem paranormal romance that grabbed my attention with its intriguing storyline right from the start. Hazel is a reaper, a former human now tasked with escorting souls to their afterlife. As part of her recent promotion, she’s tasked with choosing and training a hellhound pack to assist her in her job.Feeling an instant connection with a pack of three misfits, Hazel wants nothing more than to ...

This is a really good read, especially for fans of Grim Reapers, Hellhounds, or Shifters in general! Rhea Watson's **Reaper's Pack** has been at the top of my Kindle recommendations for a while now, and it just goes to show you, sometimes it's absolutely worth trying those suggestions... maybe my Kindle knows me better than I do!
I loved that it was a standalone story, and it was perfect just as that. This **paranormal romance** revolves more around the unfolding love story and Hazel (The Reap...

I've been going through a phase where I want to read more standalone RH romance. When I stumbled upon *Reaper's Pack* by Rhea Watson, I started it immediately and had zero regrets. This book is a good length for the build-up of the relationship with all the guys. It could be wordy at times, but the story and relationships progressed at a great (slower) speed for me. The story felt pretty unique too because she's the one with the power and in charge for once, but she treats them as equals. They're...

Not that bad, but nothing really happened until the end of the book.
When you think of an RH book, Rhea Watson's *Reaper's Pack* is pretty tame compared to others I've read. Things were definitely a slow burn with the reaper and her hellhounds. Of course, they flirted around one another until things just became too hot and bothered for them all.
That being said, I liked everyone. This paranormal romance didn't really dish out too much drama, and I only really disliked one douchebag throughout ...

Reaper's Pack by Rhea Watson has such a great premise, and really stood out as something original when I read the synopsis. How many other reverse harem books are there about grim reapers and hellhounds? The characters are all adults, and it’s a standalone, which is a nice change of pace. I really wanted to love this paranormal romance, but unfortunately, I did not. It’s a long, drawn-out, slow burn, and I was bored long before the halfway mark.
Our heroine is Hazel, a nurse who was killed duri...

Reaper's Pack by Rhea Watson: Dull.

Reaper's Pack by Rhea Watson was a pretty good read, if slightly too long. The best thing about this reverse harem romance was how the author took the time to properly build the relationships with depth—something frequently lacking in RH, particularly in a standalone novel—so that truly impressed me. However, beyond that, there wasn't really much of a plot. I mean, a plot was certainly present, but it wasn't the central focus and didn't hold my interest. I was fine with that, though, because wha...

I'm settling on a 4, though I went back and forth quite a bit. The reason why is because there were distinct 3-star moments, 4-star moments, and even 5-star moments within the book. Some of the 3-star moments came from language that felt a bit too verbose in places. This was mostly evident early on, particularly with descriptions of the main character that bordered on worshipful. While that's a common trope, here it felt a little overdone. Another point was the length; it started to feel like a m...

Reaper's Pack by Rhea Watson offers a reading experience that was a bit lengthy for my taste, leaning towards a slow-burn and sweet narrative. The central theme of this paranormal romance review revolves around getting acquainted with the hell hounds and the development of relationships, all while a stalker lurks in the background. The reveal of the culprit in Reaper's Pack felt a bit abrupt, but I appreciated how the story unfolded. It features multiple POVs, plenty of steamy scenes, and a weal...

Overall: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥Feels: 🥺😬😢😏😱🥰~REVIEW🖋~The Quick and Dirty: A WWII nurse dies and is chosen to be a Reaper. She selects 3 hellhounds to train as her companions in guiding souls to the afterlife, thinking the only challenge is gaining their trust when really, their lives depend on whether or not they can secure their bond.I absolutely loved Rhea Watson's debut, *Reaper's Pack* (although she writes under another pen name that I love just as much). As a fan of compelling para...
