I usually pick up her books when I want something fast and easy to read. *Prince of Pain IV* keeps the story going with Liam, a slave who's now Prince Briar's plaything. Not a romance, and no real ending.I enjoyed the story and found the fairy, angel, demon, and "abundant male" elements intriguing, but the ending felt incredibly abrupt. You spend the entire book learning what shaped the prince, and then it just...stops. It concludes with a flashback, of all things. There's no redemption arc, no fixing Liam.
