This series just keeps getting better and better. It's definitely dark, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. But if you're into that, dive in!I'm really enjoying the 'male term' aspect of it. It's similar to omegaverse, but it's not just rehashing the same old omega tropes we've seen a million times. Liam's Story ContinuesThis isn't the first book I've read by Julie Mannino. I usually pick up her books when I want something fast and easy to read. *Prince of Pain IV* keeps the story going with Liam, a slave who's now Prince Briar's plaything. Unlike a lot of Julie Mannino's other books, where romance and love are the big themes, this one felt more focused on control and ownership. Not a romance, and no real ending.I enjoyed the story and found the fairy, angel, demon, and "abundant male" elements intriguing, but the ending felt incredibly abrupt. You spend the entire book learning what shaped the prince, and then it just...stops. It concludes with a flashback, of all things. There's no redemption arc, no fixing Liam. Honestly, I'm hoping Julie Mannino writes a few more books in this series. I'd love to see **Prince of Pain IV** evolve into something at least bordering on ...
