You know the kind of books I'm talking about, right? They're not exactly realistic (I get it's fantasy, but there should be some ground rules you can't just ignore). Sometimes they're straight-up laughable. Sometimes you can't even figure out what genre they're supposed to be.One of the main characters is an abusive jerk and/or a criminal, but somehow thinks he's got the right to *judge* everyone else. The other main character just won't shut his mouth, and you're tempted to beat him senseless you...

Oooo, this is clever and creepy all rolled into one. Julie Mannino's "Prince of Pain III" really knows how to get under your skin. If you're looking for a book review that sums it up, this is it: unsettling brilliance.

One review for all three books so far. This series is pretty damn good, and I love a character who's morally wicked but might be redeemable. If you're looking for a great book review to convince you to pick this up, look no further!

Maybe it’s because he’s half-fairy, and that limits his ability to collect as much life force, but he's definitely using Liam for more than bedroom fun. He's gotta be part demon. If you're looking for a dark and twisty bo...
