This isn't just an audiobook; it's a full-blown audio adaptation. Absolutely brilliantly done. It felt like experiencing the perfect movie adaptation, but not with my eyes—with my ears. Each character is voiced by a separate actor, the sounds are recorded in appropriate locations, the music, the script... I'm simply awestruck by how perfect it was 😍. If you're looking for great audiobook reviews, especially for classics, give Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" a listen – you won't be disappoin...

On December 16, 2025, Jane Austen would have been 250 years old. "A girly romance novel," I scoffed, but this anniversary prompted me to finally read one of her books. Naturally, *Pride and Prejudice* was the first to come to mind. I joined a buddy-read group on Literat, and we read the book together in three sections. That was definitely the best decision; Jane Austen is certainly not for superficial reading, as there's so much depth to it. But one thing at a time. I had to give up on my ambi...

4.5 stars! Absolutely loved this. It felt like listening to a movie unfold. I especially appreciated that this version of Jane Austen's *Pride and Prejudice* gave some extra insight into Elizabeth and Darcy's inner thoughts. Highly recommend this read for anyone looking for classic literature with a fresh perspective! A must-read book review.

Oh, stop my heart, I can't take it! 🥹The audiobook gets 4.5 stars 🫶🏻I swooned at how sweet Mr. Darcy turned out to be 😭. Yes, I was just as annoyed with him as Elizabeth (Lizzy) was, but man... the things he did 😭. Plus, he definitely "fell first," and I love that in the books I read 😮‍💨.I've never actually read *Pride and Prejudice* by Jane Austen, and I know I REALLY need to, but this was such a fun way to finally get my "eyes" (ahem... ears 🤣🤣🤣) on the story. Perfect for a beginner'...

This book offers a concise retelling of Jane Austen's *Pride and Prejudice*, adapted into a more accessible, contemporary language aimed at English language learners and casual readers. As a long-time fan of the original story, I thoroughly enjoyed this version and see it as a fantastic way to encourage readers to delve into Austen's complete novel in the future. If you're looking for easy-to-read book reviews or a gentle introduction to classic literature, this is a great place to start.

The illustrations are beautiful, but Jane Austen's words in "Pride and Prejudice" have been "translated" into simpler, more modern language, losing all the great quotes! It felt a bit childish. As a "Pride and Prejudice" book review, I was hoping for more of Jane Austen's original voice.

I read *Pride and Prejudice* by Jane Austen for the first and only time when I was really young, around 7 or 8 years old. At the time, I thought *Pride and Prejudice* was so difficult and confusing, but I pushed through it and managed to read the entire book with a mid-level understanding of what it was about. It was the hardest book I had ever read, and I was really proud of myself for doing it. I closed the book, shelved it, and haven't so much as opened it since then... until just recently. I...

I love *Pride and Prejudice* as it is, but the audiobook version was pretty amazing too. Rosamund Pike did a wonderful job! ❤❤❤ [Keywords: audiobook review, classic literature]
