I really enjoyed this historical romance, especially the two main characters, Lady Gwendolyn Marie Worthington and Neville Quinn, the Earl of Drayton. The supporting characters were great too!
Lady Gwendolyn Marie Worthington is being forced into a marriage with a man old enough to be her father. After the wedding, he blames her for his own inability to consummate the marriage. But there might be hope for love in her future when she meets her brother's business associate.
Neville Quinn, the Ea...

Sherry Ewing's *Nothing But Time* is an absolutely amazing story of a tumultuous love triangle filled with unhappiness and unexpected romance. Gwen is a young woman unhappily married to Sandhurst, a lecherous older man old enough to be her father. From the start, their marriage is fraught with trouble, and Sandhurst constantly blames Gwen for everything, making her life miserable. He keeps her isolated, preventing her from calling or even seeing her best friend. Gwen's heart is tender, but she's...

As mentioned by other reviewers, *Nothing But Time* is a great introduction to the Worth family series. Sherry Ewing's short story provides a glimpse into Regency-era social mores.
The writing is easy to comprehend. The characters are uncomplicated, and the emotional tension creates a fast-paced reading experience. I enjoyed the connection between Gwendolyn and Neville. I thought Gwen exhibited self-assurance in controlling the terms of the affair. It was touching to watch respectable Neville c...

I knew from the moment I turned to the first page that "Nothing But Time" would be a captivating story. And I wasn't disappointed! Sherry Ewing truly has a gift for drawing the reader in and holding them spellbound until the very last word. This novel tells the story of Lady Gwendolyn's arranged marriage to a man old enough to be her father—a deal sealed by her own father before his passing. Gwendolyn is determined to make the best of her situation, but she faces an uphill battle because her hus...

Sherry Ewing delivers another fantastic story! We see a young woman forced into a loveless marriage to settle her father's debts, and a brother who ruthlessly enforces that arrangement.
The Duke is cruel, abusive, and utterly unforgiving. He's never happy – I doubt he even knows what happiness is – and treats her like property. She endures, miserably, until her brother's friend, Duke Neville Quinn, arrives. Freshly rid of a mistress, Neville has no desire to get involved again. He tries to resi...

Sherry Ewing's *Nothing But Time*: a fantastic four-star read! This is the first book in the Family of Worth series, and also the first book I've read by this author, but I'll definitely be checking out more. We're introduced to Lady Gwendolyn Mary Worthington after she realizes she's about to be married off to a man much older than herself. Her father set it up as part of a business deal, and after his death, her brother's taken over to make sure everything goes through. Just a few short weeks ...

I really enjoyed "Nothing But Time." It was a sweet romantic novel that made me cheer for the forbidden couple. I know it sounds a bit weird, cheering for a couple that wasn't supposed to fall in love. But then again, love comes unexpectedly and at times when you really need someone to love or be loved. Once I found out the reasons for the forbidden love, I couldn't have loved it more. It was beautifully written and I was extremely satisfied with how Sherry Ewing wrote this book. It was creative...

Oh my goodness!!! I just have to say, Sherry Ewing, you are awesome! This story, *Nothing But Time*, is about a love that shouldn't happen, a marriage built on lies, and the selfish wants and desires of others. Lady Gwendolyn is trapped in a marriage defined by lies, deceit, abuse, and unwanted desires. The lies of her husband, a man thirty years her senior (maybe even older!), are more than she can bear. Forced by her husband's own blood brother, she's bound to a man who knows nothing of honor,...

I haven't read many historical romance novels before, unsure of what to expect from each author. But diving into Sherry Ewing's *Nothing But Time*, the description really grabbed me, and I was excited to start reading. Gwendolyn starts out fragile, but her strength grows throughout *Nothing But Time*, and I loved watching her true self emerge.Neville was a goner from the get-go. He's sweet, but also carries this dominant presence. I absolutely loved him and his wonderfully strange name! Set in t...
