3.5 stars! So much teenage angst, kinda unhinged, a little chaotic, but seriously entertaining, lol.I'm glad we got to see more of the vampire world's power struggles!Honestly, this book kinda made me Team Jacob 🫣. I was feeling pretty 'meh' about Edward in this one, but I'm curious to see how my opinion of the main characters in Stephenie Meyer's *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)* changes as I read the rest of the series! If you're looking for a good young adult *New Moon* book review, you...

Reread (2024) ~•~•~ "Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me." ~•~•~ "These violent delights have violent endsAnd in their triumph die, like fire and powderWhich, as they kiss, consume." For a book centered on heartbreak... it strangely leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Honestly, *New Moon (The Twilight Sag...

Seriously, this book, New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2) by Stephenie Meyer, could have been, like, 20 pages long if Bella just went to therapy. I mean, come on.

You know it's true love when it's between a 100+ year old virgin pedophile and an 18-year-old with one brain cell, right? 😌
Bella Swan is so bad at everything, like she can't even put herself in danger properly in "New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)" by Stephenie Meyer. Looking for a funny book review? This one nails it.

Ever read *Twilight* and thought, "Man, I wish there was a version of this with zero romance, maximum angst, a main character who's a total wreck for most of it, way more side characters I couldn't care less about, and some questionable Native American stereotypes?"If so, Stephenie Meyer basically wrote *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)* for you.You gotta give Steph credit for writing a massive hit and then thinking, "What if I ripped out all the fun bits and crammed in a load of garbage?" T...

Alexa, play "Possibility" by Lykke Li
That's pretty much the vibe of *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)* by Stephenie Meyer. Seriously, if you're looking for a book review that captures the sheer, agonizing heartbreak of being a teenager who thinks their life is over because their vampire boyfriend dumped them, look no further.
Stephenie Meyer really dials up the angst in this one. Bella Swan is basically a walking, talking, breathing (barely) embodiment of teenage despair. We're talking m...

Stephen King once said, "Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good." I couldn't agree more, Stephen. With that, let's kick this off with a joke:

I'm sorry folks. I just could not get through this shit book another time. However, since I've already read it a few times, I feel extremely confident in skipping to the re...

This should suffice.
Let's talk about Stephenie Meyer's *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)*. This book, the second installment in the Twilight saga, had a *lot* to live up to after *Twilight*, and… well.
It's a tough one. As far as young adult paranormal romance goes, *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)* leans heavily into the angst. I mean, *really* leans. If you're looking for a light, fluffy read, this ain't it, chief. Prepare yourself for some serious teenage heartbreak and existenti...

Keep in mind that though this review is about to go off on an angry rant, *New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)* is good. The series is addictive. And as I said previously about Stephenie Meyer, if you want to switch off your brain for a few hours, she's your girl.
The beginning is slow, the middle is gold, the end is lacking. The blank pages to represent months passed in zombie-depression? Great idea.
Now, my problem. My problem isn't so much with the story as it is perhaps with the idea behi...

"Forbidden to remember, terrified to forget; it was a hard line to walk."
Really cringing at my younger self..And yet....I still loved itSo, I guess I'm cringing at my older self too.
"Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason. ...And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire."
When Bella gets a paper cut during her birthday, she (in typical ridiculously unstable fashion) slices her arm ope...
