My clients at the vet clinic always called me an animal whisperer. I never questioned it, not until I started hearing *monsters* too. It began with a sick dog whose owner arrived right at closing. The dog *spoke* to me, revealing his ailment, and I healed him. But I never imagined his owner would th...

This J.B. Trepagnier book, *Monster Whisperer*, is a reverse harem, but it feels like it's written by a teenager. Bonus points for one of the love interests being a woman.

I absolutely loved Monster Whisperer by J.B. Trepagnier; it was truly amazing! The monsters are definitely my favorite part of this fantastic fantasy book. They are so incredibly cool, and honestly, who wouldn't want to be able to talk to animals like that? I would absolutely love to have that ability myself!

Not a fan of the cover, but intrigued enough by the plot, I decided to give J.B. Trepagnier's *Monster Whisperer* a go. I found this fantasy novel quite good and entertaining. While it felt a bit repetitive at times, I definitely like where this story is heading.

Welcome to a *Monster Whisperer* review by J.B. Trepagnier, a book that delivers... quite the experience. Let’s dive into some of its most memorable moments:\nQ: “You can call me Plouton, and my dog is Cerberus.” (c)\nQ: I mean, I was glad he was feeling better, but he now had two extra heads. (c)\nQ: Hades was trying to put the fire in his trousers out. (c) Ouchworthy.\nQ: Who knew a three-headed dog was such a cockblocker? ... \nThere was probably something seriously wrong with me. This was so easy to devour. In J.B. Trepagnier's *Monster Whisperer*, you're introduced to River. She definitely reminded me of a female Dr. Dolittle. Which, hey, I can totally get behind one hundred percent since I love all kinds of animals. Dogs are #1 in my heart though, always and forever.
Back to River, it was really interesting that she could communicate with all sorts of animals just through her thoughts. It was always highly entertaining to see their discussions and whether or not they ...

4.5 StarsI recently dived into J.B. Trepagnier's *Monster Whisperer* and I really enjoyed it; it was fantastic. So much fun and genuinely laugh-out-loud hilarious at times. This paranormal romance review is just a taste of how much I loved it! We all think talking to animals would be awesome, but what about animals *and* monsters? It sort of makes them less scary and threatening when you can communicate with them. And River is such an awesome heroine; I cannot wait to see how the series will pla...

DNF at 28% when Kimon the minotaur has to leave for a fight.
I'm usually a sucker for stories about people who can communicate with animals, but there really wasn't much to redeem J.B. Trepagnier's *Monster Whisperer* after we started interacting with the different monsters that would end up in the FMC River's harem. As a fantasy romance review, I found the pacing incredibly fast; their backstories were just regurgitated in a single scene, and River seemed waaaaaaaaaaay too accepting about her ...

I DNF'd Monster Whisperer by J.B. Trepagnier at chapter 3. I just couldn't get past the writing style. It felt blocky, more like a first draft than a polished novel. The core idea seemed decent, but the execution was just 'meh'.

I finished Monster Whisperer by J.B. Trepagnier super quickly, not only because it was a small book but also because I was so desperate to finish it and get onto better books.
I picked up this J.B. Trepagnier novel on Kindle Unlimited because the premise sounded intriguing, but I sorely wished I hadn’t. The book was rushed, which meant that the protagonist had no character or charisma, and neither did anyone else. The plot was also terribly developed, and everything happened so quickly, meaning...

The pacing in *Monster Whisperer* is very weird; it jumps so fast I had to keep rereading the page to make sure I didn't miss anything.DNF @ 38%River is an animal whisperer, a veritable Dr. Doolittle. She has her own vet clinic. She is approached one day by a man with a very strange dog, and after successfully diagnosing the dog, she is kidnapped. The man turns out to be Hades and the dog, Cerberus. River is rightfully frightened, for about two more lines, then she accepts everything. Cerberus h...
