Monster Hunter Vendetta by Larry Correia delivers exactly what you'd expect: more demon action, zombies, suspense, and a metric ton of fight scenes and magic. All the things I love in a thriller/fantasy/action novel! Honestly, I think Monster Hunter Vendetta is the best installment in the series so far. And that's saying something, because all the Monster Hunter books are fantastic. If you're looking for a thrilling read, Larry Correia's Monster Hunter Vendetta is a must-read!

This was a blast to read! Even more action and gunfights than the last book, if you can believe it. *Monster Hunter Vendetta* really dives into the fallout from Z messing with the Old Ones. I mean, the nuke wasn't his fault, but he definitely pissed them off, so he's gotta face the music... There were some seriously hilarious moments, especially Owen's reaction to and interactions with those freakin' gnomes. I was cracking up: "Damn right, punk-ass bitch, best step off my porch!" We get some b...

Be glad and rejoice, my Comely Decapods, for I am about to do the Cut the Bloody Shrimping Crap and Just Make a Bloody Fishing List Thing (CtBSCaJMaBFLT™)! Therefore, we won’t be here all day! Maybe. Yeah yeah yeah, I’ve used that gif thousands a few times already, but I’m kinda sorta on strike today, so deal with it and stuff.So. Here goes and stuff. You need to read this book because:① It’s even more boisterously fun and gleefully entertaining than the first installment in the series. It’s all...

I absolutely loved this book!!!!

The world Larry Correia has created is such an amazing place to visit. I can't put into words how exciting, fast-paced, and totally captivating it is. What I can say is that if you're looking for something refreshingly unique in the urban fantasy genre, look no further than Larry Correia's Monster Hunter Vendetta. Seriously, if you're after a thrilling book review, grab this one!

The Monster Cowboys are Back with a 4-Star EffortYour favorite monster-hunting cowboys are back, and it only takes a few pages before your mind's eye is splattered with monster gore. Zombified humans, zombified bears, zombified trolls, zombified elephants, werewolves, vampires, gnomes, trolls, and one nasty necromancer are just some of the enemies faced in the second installment of this exciting series. Larry Correia continues to put an interesting twist on the well-trodden path of fantasy monst...

This book, *Monster Hunter Vendetta* by Larry Correia, was a strange one, and a very strange sequel at that. Unlike the previous book, I actively disliked the beginning of this one. Where the first book started with a bit of normalcy, then immediately threw you into the action, and followed that with more normalcy (establishing a rhythm and letting the reader breathe as the characters, setting, and plot developed), *Monster Hunter Vendetta* just jumped straight into the action and never really ...

This has quickly become my absolute favorite urban fantasy series. A hilariously action-packed, darkly Lovecraftian urban fantasy, and thankfully without all the tedious angst that usually weighs down the genre. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun monster-hunting read! If you're looking for thrilling urban fantasy, definitely check out Larry Correia's *Monster Hunter Vendetta*.

Larry Correia's delivered another fun action adventure. Monsters International is back in *Monster Hunter Vendetta*, only this time Owen and MHIs are on the defensive. There's a mild whodunit mystery to identify the new bad guy looking to turn Owen over to the Old Ones, and a more pressing one regarding an internal traitor. While no one will claim this is high literature, it's a fun action story that leaves many thrillers faltering by comparison. I only have two real complaints. I felt the init...

The MHI series is threatening to knock LARPing out of the top spot as my new favorite guilty pleasure. Seriously, I'm hooked. Okay, part of the problem is that grocery shopping in full orc-killing battle gear tends to make civilians a bit nervous, and my spiked leggings keep tearing up the upholstery in my car. But mostly, it's because this is a kick-ass, steroid-enhanced thrill ride of a book, and I can read it without having to look over my shoulder to see if a Thoombian Battle Mage is sne...

This is a good book, as the four-star rating suggests... but it's not quite as amazing as the first one in the series. So, you're probably asking, "Why did you rate it the same as the first book?" (Well, since I originally wrote this review, I went back and changed my rating for *Monster Hunter Vendetta* to 5 stars. It felt like the right thing to do.) "Well," I reply, "we're seeing the limitations of the five-star system again. Without half-stars or a ten-star system, I have to compromise. I re...
