I was just looking for something LGBTQ+ to read before Pride Month ended, and I stumbled upon this book, Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale by Julie Mannino.I was cracking up the entire time I was reading it. It was so ridiculously funny.Werewolves? Check. Fairies? Check. Loki? Yep, even Loki makes an appearance. I'm not even kidding! And don't even get me started on the lyrical quotes, like this one: "Being saved by the hulking blacksmith had led to a lot of fantasies about a much bigger, stron...

So glad I didn't buy

I'm so glad this was on Kindle Unlimited because it was immature and the writing was really bad. Read *Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale* by Julie Mannino at your own risk. Definitely one of the paranormal romance book reviews where I wish I could get my time back!

Okay, so... There's just *too* much crammed into this book for how short it is. I get that Julie Mannino was going for a retelling of sorts with "Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale", but honestly, it didn't quite gel for me. I'm not sure how Loki, Thor, and Asgard were supposed to fit into the Little Red Riding Hood story. I appreciate the effort, though. If you're looking for paranormal fairy tale book reviews, this might be one to skip.

Definitely Different

This story is quite a departure from typical paranormal romance or monster romance tales, but I found myself really enjoying it. This author was new to me, and I definitely plan to check out their other books because I appreciate something that breaks the mold. If you're looking for unique paranormal book reviews, give "Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale" by Julie Mannino a try!

It's Friday, which apparently means Blake's got his weekly chore of visiting Grandma with a basket of goodies his mum baked. But on *this* visit, Blake's about to get a whole lot more than he bargained for, walking right into a Little Red Riding Hood scenario.Yep, there's a wolf dressed up as his Grandma in her bed. But when Blake discovers the wolf hasn't eaten his Grandma and *doesn't even want to eat him*, the big question is: what *does* the wolf want? How's this wolf about to completely fli...

Okay, this one really pushes some boundaries. The main character seems young, pretty much blind, and super naive. He lives with his mum, and there's a granny in the mix – watch out for her! It treads dangerously close to a line that'll make some readers squirm, no doubt about it. But hey, it's well-written, and the concept is killer. I'm definitely looking forward to Julie Mannino's next book, "Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale", hopefully we get Snow White next! If you are looking for dark fa...

I can't believe this was mixed in with Loki either! I was dying to know more about the fairies, but there just wasn't enough space to cram everything in. Anyway, the breeding and knotting scenes definitely got me all hot and bothered, and I absolutely loved how Blake developed as a character. It's so refreshing to see a character with a disability who doesn't need to be "fixed" to be worthy. Igsy struck the perfect balance between sweet cinnamon roll and dominant Alpha. The ending was pure heart...

I really enjoyed this fairy tale, especially the blend of legend, folklore, and mythology. (I've got a soft spot for Norse mythology!) The way Julie Mannino wove it all into *Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale* was fantastic. The pacing is great, the plot twists keep you guessing, and the characters are compelling... oh, and the steamy scenes? Seriously hot! Igsy is just so adorable and fiercely protective of Blake. I had a slightly harder time connecting with Blake at first, but I definitely a...

A collection of gay fairy tales? Count me in!This was fantastic! I really appreciate how Blake's disability was handled realistically, without some magical cure. I don't want to give away any spoilers since it's a short read, but the breeding and knotting scenes were scorching, and the ending was just 🤩The incorporation of Norse mythology and Loki got me so hyped, especially since I loved him in Loki's Price and was craving moooore of him. Seeing him in **Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale** b...

3.5 stars. A really interesting blend of different worlds, paranormal creatures, and gods, all stirred together to create a monstrous twist on a classic fairy tale. The red cloak reveal? *Chef's kiss.* For me, personally, **Little Red: A Paranormal Fairy Tale** by Julie Mannino would've hit even harder with a little less… mating. But overall, it's a quick and fun read with some seriously impressive world-building. If you're looking for a paranormal romance book review that points you towards som...
