I absolutely adore this series! "Jeremy Poldark" by Winston Graham is a book you can really get lost in. If you're looking for engaging historical fiction, this is a great one!

The vivid descriptions, the characters' turmoil and tribulations, and how their surroundings and circumstances shape their lives and perceptions – it truly felt like watching a movie. While I haven't seen any of the adaptations based on these novels yet, I can only imagine how straightforward the filmmakers' job must have been, thanks to Mr. Graham's visual writing.
