I'm pleasantly surprised, but also a little annoyed, that I ended up enjoying this audiobook so much and becoming invested in Sirius Black. The story really took off when we started uncovering the backstory – the events that happened before Harry's time. Learning more about the adult characters and being genuinely surprised by the plot twists was fantastic. If you are looking for a great book review, look no further than J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*. This installment...

(A) 85% | ExtraordinaryNotes: A flavorful sense of impending doom, it expands the emotional range, like ripened fruit, and is more acute: a sweet and spicy sandwich.*Check out progress updates for detailed commentary: Progress updates:02/13/2020 - PreambleOf all the books, most people say that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is their favorite. I believe a big reason why is it hits the sweet spot between the middle-grade fare of the first two and the dark seriousness of the last four. On...

This whole home prison situation – aka voluntarily quarantining, baking cookies and throwing them straight in the trash (I’ve never claimed to be a good cook, and honestly, I’m getting worse every day!) – is giving me serious nostalgic vibes. It’s like living through a never-ending Mercury retrograde! You don’t want to start anything new; you just have to revisit the past or deal with unfinished business.
Of course, *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban* by J.K. Rowling was never going to b...

This one is definitely my favorite of the three I've read so far! :)

Re-reading *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban* as an adult has given me an even deeper appreciation for it.
Five stars, without a doubt. This is a great book review for J.K. Rowling's best work.

I'm starting to wonder if Hogwarts will ever get a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher who's just… a teacher. Seriously! After Lockhart's vanity show and Lupin's… furry little problem, you'd think Dumbledore would do a more thorough background check. Anyway, on to J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*. This installment is darker, more complex, and frankly, scarier than the first two, and it's all the better for it. Rowling's world-building continues to be phenomenal, and th...

Notes: "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" separates itself from its predecessors with a story of greater complexity, darker tones, and a vastly expanded mythology. A truly exceptional read for those seeking thrilling book reviews and a deeper dive into J.K. Rowling's magical world.

I last read this book when I was 14 years old, and now that I'm almost 32, I see it in a totally different light. Even though I gave it 5 stars before, I have to admit that **Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban** didn't really click with me until this second read.Okay, confession time: I used to not like Remus or Sirius.*Khanh ducks as rotten fruit and eggs are thrown her way*OK, OK, I'M SORRY! I've changed my mind since then! Notice the past tense.Obviously, there will be **spoilers** belo...
