"Galloping gargoyles!"
"Hang on. This Lord Voldything's back, you say."
When a book gets too long, there's always the risk of giving up halfway, or starting to skim through parts. I think *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* qualifies as long (the version I read had around 1000 pages), but I wish it were even longer. Only J.K. Rowling can pull that off. I didn't find one boring bit, or anything out of place. We're reaching a near-perfect level of writing here at the fifth book in th...

Rowling. No longer shiny metal against still skies. Now it's rusty, pitted metal against billowing clouds.(2) Prior to my current re-rea...

Umbridge? More like Umbitch.
That woman deserves to die. Painfully. Honestly, J.K. Rowling really nailed the villain you just love to hate in *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix*. I'm looking for more *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* book reviews just to see if others felt the same way!

(obviously a reread) *cries*
Still gets me every time. J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* remains a gut-wrenching, emotional rollercoaster. This isn't just a book; it's an experience. If you're looking for in-depth *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* book reviews, you already know. You *know*. The feels are real.

I had to reread it. I was in such a nostalgic mood. J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* always brings back so many memories.

Even though it's the longest book in the series, I devoured *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* faster than all the others. Seriously, couldn't put it down! If you're looking for a good book review, here are three things I absolutely loved about J.K. Rowling's novel:
**1. Harry and Sirius:** They didn't get much time together, but the moments they shared profoundly shaped Harry's journey. A few words of wisdom from a true friend (or godfather) can go such a long way. And this scene? May...

Notes: This is a transitional book, and that holds it back from being truly amazing, but it significantly expands the Harry Potter mythos with some excellent new characters. As far as *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* book reviews go, I'd say J.K. Rowling really delivered on world-building here.

Seriously, don't read this review if you haven't read the books. Consider this your spoiler warning! The biggest compliment I can give an 870-page book is that I wish it had been longer. I genuinely wish *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* had been longer. This installment has always been my favorite in the series. Up until this point, Harry’s story had been filled with light. Sure, there were some tough parts earlier on, and while it's true that some darkness crept into the ending of the ...

Stephen Fry: Can we settle an important question?JK Rowling: Yes.Stephen Fry: How do you pronounce your last name?JK Rowling: It is Row-ling. As in rolling pin.Stephen Fry: So if any of you hear someone pronounce her name “Rohw-ling”, you have my permission to hit them over the head with — not with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, that would be cruel. Something smaller, like a fridge.
