2023: Like every reread, this is my favorite.

2021: I knew what to expect, and the ending still broke my heart. J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince* remains a powerful and emotionally resonant read, even after all these years. If you're looking for a captivating fantasy book review, look no further than *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince*.

"5. Should you feel that a family member, colleague, friend, or neighbor is acting in a strange manner, contact the Magical Law Enforcement Squad at once. They may have been put under the Imperius Curse." Time for interesting little subplots is over. We've arrived finally, where everything is closely tied to the core of the story and progressing fast. It's always delightful to see, everything that was great about the series still remains the same, if not better. However, disappointments, sorrow...

(A) 86% | ExtraordinaryNotes: A respite filled with relationships, it’s Sturm und Drang clearing up: all lovesick woe, watching enemies, and awkward snogging.*Check out progress updates for detailed commentary: Progress updates:06/24/2020 - 3%(1) The Muggle Prime Minister would have been John Major.- No wonder he lost the 1997 election in a landslide.- Likely fictional, though, as Major wasn't elected to power, and his predecessor wasn't male.(2) Fudge: "Is a man alive if he can't be killed? I don't know why, but *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince* completely blindsided me. I went in expecting a bit of a placeholder, something to bridge the gap to *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows*, but so much actually goes down! I’d clearly forgotten a lot from the movie. *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince* goes considerably darker than the first five books, and I'm just loving how this entire series has matured and evolved alongside many of its readers. Obviously, I already knew abo...

“I am a wizard, not a baboon or a transphobe.”- Not J.K. RowlingMermaids UKThe Trevor ProjectBlack Visions Collective because Black trans lives matter. Reading *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince* in 2024... still magical, still a great fantasy book, but also a reminder to support trans rights. J.K. Rowling's views don't diminish the stories for me, but they definitely highlight where the real magic should be directed: towards inclusivity and acceptance. If you're looking for a nostalgic re...

I still haven’t properly talked about one of the most pivotal characters in this entire series. I'm, of course, talking about Severus Snape.Severus, the unsung hero. Severus, who sacrificed his own soul. Severus, who loved another more than life itself. Severus, the half-blood prince—the truth about his character was, and likely always will be, one of the most shocking twists I’ve ever encountered in fiction. It's all set up in J.K. Rowling's *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince*. If you're l...

I don't want to talk to anyone right now.
Don't even look at me.
I was expecting it, and I *still* cried for, like, a solid 30 minutes after finishing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling. Seriously, if you're looking for emotional book reviews, brace yourself for this one.

Welcome to my reread of the phenomenal "Harry Potter" series! 🤓⚡️ I'm reading the books, listening to a fun (adult) podcast, and watching the movies. ❤️📚🎧🎬⚠️This review contains spoilers⚠️If you don’t yet know:*why the elf-made wine is the one to try tonight*why the dragon's blood is a bit dusty*why Hermione’s confiscating fanged frisbees from 4th years*why the mouth organ was always just a mouth organ*why we hide sherry bottles*why it is our mercy that matters now*why we’re reaching into th...
