This was shockingly good?! Seriously, *Greed (The Damning, #1)* by Katie May absolutely delivered. All the guys were actually different from one another and had distinct personalities instead of just being growly possessive bastards, which was such a refreshing change from usual in a dark romance. Hella enjoyable! For anyone looking for a compelling new read, this book review gives it a huge thumbs up.

Greed (The Damning, #1) by Katie May Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5Spice: 3/5 🌶🌶🌶*Read trigger warnings before picking up this paranormal romance book.*Wow. I can't get over how completely hooked I was on this read. The beginning was a little rocky, with a lot of necessary info-dumping, but after that, I couldn't put it down. The story's flow was incredibly smooth, in my opinion. The emotions I felt were all over the place, but I was totally here for it. A great start to a series I hope only gets b...

Greed (The Damning, #1) by Katie May kind of reminded me of main characters I've encountered in different series. I mean, Zara was sarcastic and funny – which is basically a lot of MCs at this point. I did like Zara, which surprised me because the rest of the characters were kind of meh.The romance in Greed (The Damning, #1) was just okay. Maybe I need a break from reverse harem books because I haven't been liking them that much lately. Plus, the ones I do like… I have to wait like 5,000 years f...

After reading *The Darkness We Crave* and the following books by Katie May, I thought I'd give the author another try. I liked *Together We Fall*, but I absolutely loved the hell out of *Greed (The Damning, #1)*.Oh, I see your brain working, you RH fanatics.Yes, the cover is purple.Yes, the title is one single noun.Yes, the heroine is a blonde.Yes, *Greed (The Damning, #1)* is hilarious. No, this is not a reheated version of *Trickery*.Z is a total badass. She's an assassin, a real one, and a da...

I reallyyyyy wanted to love Katie May's Greed (The Damning, #1), but it was just ok. I loved the concept, but the execution--specifically in terms of the insta-love, writing, world building, stupidity, and character traits--interfered with that love.Greed (The Damning, #1) is set in a world in which each of the seven supernatural species embodies one of the seven deadly sins, and the humans are at the bottom of the totem pole. The book focuses on a human assassin who gets magically sucked into j...

I can only say that Greed (The Damning, #1) by Katie May was a hot mess for me. The characters and world just felt really two-dimensional. I couldn't place when or where it was set. Was it in a future world where magic and supernaturals came out, or is this a full-on fantasy land? But then why are they talking the way they are?And she didn't seem like much of an assassin; it seemed to be more focused on building this mate bond thing, with people just kinda dying in front of her. There was so muc...

Katie May caught me again! First with Gangs and Ghosts, and now with Greed (The Damning, #1)... the woman has talent, I tell you! If you're looking for a captivating supernatural series review, you've come to the right place. On the surface, this series looks like it would resemble 'The Curse of the Gods' RH series, yet from the first 10 pages, you will quickly realize that there is NOTHING the same in this offering.Z reaches out and smacks you in the face, pushing herself onto the page and craf...

Just when you think Katie May couldn’t do any better, she delivers this absolute gem! Her latest release, Greed (The Damning, #1), is like Throne of Glass meets The Seven Deadly Sins and has a baby with a Reverse Harem twist! Katie May has ensnared me yet again, and I absolutely cannot wait for book two! If you're looking for a thrilling fantasy romance review, this one's for you!

I'm deeply ashamed, because up until now I only read May's Supernaturalette series, even though I have loads of her books on my Kindle already. I knew that was gonna change this summer and when I read on Facebook that some people seriously e-mailed May to tell her that the guys in this book were so unattractive because of their disabilities I also knew exactly which book to start with. I mean, if you complain that there aren't enough characters with disabilities in books, you gotta check out the...

Read this thinking stupidly that a few sequels in the series were already out. So you can imagine my utter despair when I finished on a chiffhanger and there’s no sequels yet! Everything about this had ”me” stamped all over it. ✅ Strong yet witty FMC, trained as an assassin✅ Fated mates ✅ seven yummy and various supernatural love interests ✅ Multiple POVs ✅ Little fluffy but not overly so. ✅ Sweet and sexy ✅ Heavily romance based but still has a good plot I can’t believe I haven’t read this soo...
