A review from Between the Pages Book Blog!Dragon Knight's Sword(Order of the Dragon Knights Book 1)By: Mary MorganRating:⭐⭐⭐⭐Days after turning the final page, my heart and mind are still reeling from this book. Maybe author Mary Morgan slipped a little bit of that mystical fae magic, so cleverly woven into the pages of Dragon Knight's Sword, into my subconscious. I've read stories about magical fae before, but never one pieced together with such imagination and heart. It truly is a captivating ...

DNF at 20%Looks like time-travel just isn't my thing... :(The writing style rubbed me the wrong way from page one. It felt like the story was being told as a screenplay for a Greek tragedy: all dramatic and over-the-top. I wasn't a fan at all. While reading, I felt like the book thought I was a complete moron and needed to over-explain everything to get it through my thick skull. And I really didn't care for the 'hero.' At one point, while discussing a really sensitive subject, he grabs his own ne...

Mary Morgan is quickly becoming my favorite romance author. *Dragon Knight's Sword* is an evocative story that blends historical elements with fantasy, the modern world with the ancient, and it'll have you hooked until the very last page.
I absolutely loved Brigid's character. She's thrust into a world that's unrecognizable and perilous, yet she's drawn to the rugged Highlander, Duncan Mackay, in a way she's never felt for any man from her own time. Duncan yearns for death, but the fae have a d...

2.5 stars*Dragon Knight's Sword* was just an okay read for me. I loved the core concept, and I'm always drawn to stories about the Fae. Unfortunately, while there were aspects I enjoyed, I found the book overall to be just 'meh' and lacking in several areas. While I'm somewhat curious about the other brothers in Mary Morgan's series, I doubt I'll bother reading their individual stories. It wasn't a terrible book, but as far as fantasy book reviews go, this one just didn't quite hit the mark for ...

Yeah, no. This ain't it for me.
There's way too much jumping back and forth between what's happening now and flashbacks, too much fairytale fluff, and the main character just won't stop muttering to herself. Like, constantly.
So, sadly, **Dragon Knight's Sword** by Mary Morgan just isn't doing it for me. I had high hopes based on other **fantasy book reviews**, but this one didn't click.

5 Healing Love Stars
Dragon Knight's Sword, the 1st book in the Order of the Dragon Knights series, was epic! If you read my review of Dragon Knight's Ring, which was the 5th book, you know I loved it so much I went straight to Amazon and bought all the others. And I'm SO glad I did. I’m so happy I took a chance and got Dragon Knight's Ring from Netgalley. I’d never heard of Mary Morgan before, and I would have totally missed out on this awesome series that I'm enjoying so much!

This is absolutely one of my favorite books! "Dragon Knight's Sword" by Mary Morgan completely captivated me. It reminded me of the classic Harlequin romances, you know, the ones with the highlander and the maiden on the cover? I was totally swept away by the romance. I felt every single emotion that Mary Morgan portrayed so vividly. While I'm not usually a huge fan of historical romances, the paranormal elements—the magic and fae, along with the time-travel aspect—added exactly what I needed to...

Dragon Knight's Sword is the first book I've read by Mary Morgan. I discovered her Order of the Dragon Knight's series while attending a Facebook party for another author. I won the second book in the series, Dragon Knight's Medallion, so I decided to purchase Dragon Knight's Sword for my Kindle. I'm so glad I did! I would've missed out on a wonderful book if I hadn't.
This book is a Time Travel/Paranormal Romance. Parts of it are set in the present day, and parts are 800 years in the past. Tim...

I want to start by saying I have waited for this book since the day Mary mentioned she was trying to find a publisher. I knew, at that moment, this story would be a worthy read. I felt it to my core...and it is!Descended from the Tuatha de Danann, half human, half fae, they are the Guardians of the Dragons...The Dragon Knights. With the coming of Christianity, the dragons perished - all but one. The Mackay Clan took her out of Eire into Scotland. An evil order destroyed the clan and the guardian...
