This series is absolutely fantastic – brimming with ancient lore, breathtaking landscapes, and shocking surprises at every corner. It's filled with magic, family bonds, and a soul-stirring romance. This particular book, Dragon Knight's Captive by Mary Morgan, focuses on the eldest brother, Angus, and Deirdre, but all the brothers and their wives make an appearance. It's just so captivating! Definitely a must-read for fans of paranormal romance and dragon shifter stories.

I absolutely loved listening to this book and couldn't stop until I'd finished it! Angus and Deirdre are both such strong, likeable characters. Mary Morgan crafts a truly wonderful story, and she guides you through their journey with incredible skill and finesse. I cried with them, felt afraid for them, and just kept wanting more and more as the story unfolded. There are also several other characters who are woven into the storyline so expertly that you immediately become eager to hear their sto...

4 Warrior Woman Stars
*Dragon Knight's Captive*, the 4th book in the Order of the Dragon Knights series by Mary Morgan, was tough for me to rate. Look, I *loved*, *loved*, *loved* Deirdre, the heroine. She was so kickass, sassy, and brave. A total warrior woman. I loved the plot and how the overall story kept moving forward. What I didn't care for was Angus. I didn't *hate* him, but I didn't *like* him either. He was stubborn to the point of being stupid and putting everyone in danger. Becau...

Didn't finish.
I tried, y'all, I really did. I have a soft spot in my heart for Scottish romances, for time travel stories, for stories with the fae, and anything to do with druids. But for all of that, there needs to be a compelling story, intriguing characters, and a believable romance.
After reading 47% of "Dragon Knight's Captive" by Mary Morgan, I still hadn't found any of those things. The book started slow, introducing a ton of characters in a short amount of time. (Do I need to remembe...

After letting down his brothers and his clan, Angus MacKay battles the encroaching darkness of despair that threatens to consume his very being. That is, until he takes Deirdre captive. Then, the fire dragon within him awakens, roaring to claim the woman fate has clearly destined to be his in this heart-racing paranormal romance, Dragon Knight's Captive by Mary Morgan. I was completely blown away by how seamlessly Mary Morgan integrated Deirdre's character into Medieval Scottish culture. She pro...

Originally Reviewed For: Tea and BookMary Morgan does it again! If you haven't yet read her Dragon Knight's series, I suggest you start. It's a wonderful compilation of Medieval Scotland and modern-day women, a time-traveler series that follows similar themes as Melissa Mayhue's Daughters of the Glen Series. While they are definitely two different series with unique possibilities, both have the magic of time travel written beautifully. So yes, I'm making a comparison...Deirdre Flanagan has a gre...

Back on Scottish soil, he encounters Deirdre, a woman who wields a sword as powerfully as his warriors, and he takes her captive. But with each day that passes, the fire dragon within him roars, desperate to claim the one woman fate has destined for him. Deirdre Flanagan, a celebrated mystery writer, is completely unprepared for t...

Get ready for twists, turns, shocking revelations, and moments where you'll be green with envy of the heroine!I absolutely love Angus, and his internal struggles resonate deeply – he's just like an...

Another absolutely marvelous time-travel story. I absolutely love this series. Deirdre Flanagan is a successful author. She's trained in loads of different kinds of martial arts, all for research purposes, of course. Now, she's off on a tour of Ireland and Scotland that her friends bought her for her birthday. The highland mist will take her further than she thinks. Angus MacKay is a knight on the tournament circuit, but rumors of evil stalking his homeland will draw him home. He has a small adv...
