A Fun and Wonderful Ride
Another excellent book that adds to the redemption of the Dragon Knights! Alastair is a deeply scarred soul when he rescues Fiona, but their story is filled with bumps and pain before they finally reach the end of his quest. Definitely enjoyable! If you're looking for a great fantasy book review, I highly recommend Mary Morgan's *Dragon Knight's Axe*.

3.5 Beastly Stars\n \nOkay, so *Dragon Knight's Axe*, the third book in Mary Morgan's 'Order of the Dragon Knights' series, was seriously good...until one part royally ticked me off. It dropped my rating from a solid 4 stars to a 3.5. This book is Fiona and Alastair Mackay's story. Alastair is definitely a darker hero than the previous two. I really liked Alastair and his beastly ways. However, I got seriously upset over some crap he pulled, and it made me dock the rating. Fiona was in a coma, ...

Alastair McKay isn’t looking for redemption after his sister’s death. That’s exactly why he's taken to the sea. His power is rooted in the land, and he'll avoid it at all costs. That is, until he sees the beautiful Fiona being sold by slave traders. Together, they must take his Axe to the Great Dragon, and help Alastair find his redemption. The problem is, Alastair *doesn't* want redemption. But something inside him is still drawn to Fiona. He resists her, and even makes a vow to her newly disco...

Alastair MacKay, the third brother, finally meets his match in Fiona O’Quinlan in Mary Morgan's Dragon Knight's Axe. Alastair's story is definitely darker than his brothers', but I enjoyed it just as much. His redemption is all the sweeter because of the inner beast he's constantly battling. Fiona has this old-world quality, like she's an old soul just living in the modern age. Indoor plumbing would be a deal-breaker for me, but not so much for her! These two together? Sizzling! It's only Alasta...

I was so ready for this one, because I’ve already fallen head over heels for this series and Mary Morgan's writing.
And, true to form, I was pulled into a fantastic story within the first paragraph, smack-dab in 1206. I was battling a vicious sea, spitting water, slashing rain, and wind so strong it brought me to my knees. Was I about to go overboard? Whoa! What an opening!
This series has time travel. Why do I love it so much? It’s because traveling to the past is NOT something each heroine i...

I absolutely love these brothers! Another fantastic story in the Dragon Knight's Axe series. This one was a little darker and more emotionally intense than the previous two, but the love story was just as beautiful. I can't wait for the next installment and I'm hoping we get to see all the brothers and their families again. As far as fantasy book reviews go, Mary Morgan has created another hit!

Alastair MacKay draws his powers from the land, yet he punishes himself by taking to the ocean, defying the God of the Sea.
Cursed and scarred from battle, he inspires fear in many. They whisper that he's two men in one: an angel and a monster. One glance at his face is enough to see the truth in both.
Nevertheless, his day of reckoning is fast approaching.
Alastair MacKay must confront the demon he unwittingly created, all for the love of a woman brave enough to love both sides of him. In...

Alastair MacKay thought he'd escaped to the sea, but when he rescues a woman from slave traders in Ireland, he unwittingly plunges back into a world of magic. Now he's a protector once more in this utterly enthralling paranormal fantasy romance. Mary Morgan has crafted a fascinating world brimming with intriguing characters. I fall a little more in love with each brother as I devour their stories, and honestly, I’m already dying to get my hands on Angus’ book! A quick note: you *can* read these ...
