Wow! What a ride! This book is packed with imagery. It pulls together every mythology I’ve ever encountered, adding and inventing new ones to tell the story that needed to be told. The pace is absolutely breakneck, and the cast of characters is both broad and complex. After reading "Destroyer of Worlds: The Ultimate Cosmic War" by Steven Seril, I'm not sure what questions are answered, or even who would ask the questions that led to this book. You really need to read it for yourself. If you're lo...

I read it . . . and I'm a little bit gobsmacked. It accomplished what it set out to do magnificently, so I couldn't help but give it five stars. It really surprised me; given the nature of the story, the first-time, independently-published status of the author, and the bombastic-sounding marketing, I didn't think it would be nearly as good as it is, although the writing in the preview was quite decent. I am so glad I gave it a fair shot. I found it oddly compelling, heartfelt, and genuine. The bo...

The narrative is super engaging, and Seril makes great use of descriptive language; I could easily picture all the scenes in my mind. While it might be a *bit* long, I enjoyed *Destroyer of Worlds: The Ultimate Cosmic War* from beginning to e...

Okay, so *Destroyer of Worlds: The Ultimate Cosmic War* by Steven Seril throws absolutely everything into the blender: Judeo-Christian beliefs, Norse mythology, Ancient Greek mythology, you name it. We're talking Queen Ain, supposedly from ancient Sumer, trillions of dragons with warlords, a bunch of dinosaurs including a blue tyrannosaur named Azure. The book kicks off by throwing all this at you, and while it covers a lot of ground super fast, honestly, it didn't really grab me. It felt like *...
