I don’t usually dive into M/M romances, but I really got into *Desire (The Fallen)* by Julie Mannino. It hits that sweet spot, balancing a compelling plot with just the right amount of steam. Desire somehow managed to utterly butcher the concept of desire supposedly coming from Hell. It felt more like desire emanating *weakly* from Earth, and then Hell taking its cues from *that*, if you can even picture it.
I honestly feel like I've earned the right to call myself the Demonic Lord of Desire...and I am *not* impressed. If you're looking for a good paranormal romance or a captivating fantasy read, this isn't it.
