A vampire walks into a bar... Sounds like the start of a bad joke, right? But *Coffin Moon* is dead serious! It reads like a '70s noir horror flick, and I mean that in the best possible way! *Coffin Moon* by Keith Rosson is gripping, dark, mesmerizing, gritty, and moody. I'd even go so far as to say it's a bloody good book! If you're looking for a great vampire novel, this is the one for you. But fair warning: these aren't your sparkly *Twilight* vampires. These vamps are violent, scary, dark, a...

5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ebook format 📖Here’s a few reasons why you should read this if you're into horror and vampires:✔️ The 1970s setting gives it a real crime noir vibe. Gritty is my middle name!✔️ It's set in the Pacific Northwest, which brings that gloom, isolation, and creeping fog. Always a killer location for horror and true crime stories. 🧐😂✔️ The vampires actually FEEL like monsters. 👏✔️ It's beautiful at times, but also brutal and gory. Just how I like my horror!I'm so glad I took a cha...

4 Stars"Coffin Moon" isn't your average vampire tale. It's a dive into darkness – melancholic, gritty, and raw. At its heart, it's a story about revenge and the crushing weight it carries, both in mind and body, when you cling to it too hard. Grief and regret are major players here, and the 1970s setting is just perfect. Right from page one, you're hit with this sense of dread, and the tension just keeps ratcheting up, slow and steady.Keith Rosson has created three incredibly compelling main cha...

Wow, this book was seriously awesome! Keith Rosson's *Coffin Moon* reads more like something you'd find in a Hard Case Crime collection (which, honestly, is a huge plus for me) than your typical horror novel. The story's steeped in that gritty, 1970s noir vibe, and it totally works! Such a cool choice by Rosson. This is the first book I've read by Keith Rosson, but it definitely won't be the last. "Everything hurts...Sorrow, vengeance, even joy. Everything's got teeth on it."We follow Duane Mino...

Driven by vengeance, Minor and Julia will stop at nothing to find John Varley, the vampire responsible for Heidi's death. And what a ride it is! The character development is phenomenal, and Keith Rosson's writing is so visceral and emotionally charged that I felt completely immersed in their world. A truly brilliant effort that grabbed me from page one. If you're looking for a dark fantasy book review that will convince you to read **Coffin Moon** by Keith Rosson, look no further!

This is one of those books where the character and relationship development is so rich, it almost feels like the horror takes a backseat—even though the brutal threat of horror is ever-present. Keith Rosson's writing in *Coffin Moon* is simply amazing, and I absolutely loved the ending. What really stood out to me was how the main characters defied typical tropes; the little girl wasn't paralyzed by fear, and both the protagonists and the antagonist took unexpected turns. I do wish there was a b...

The modern vampire novel you've been craving!*Coffin Moon* is a truly exceptional read, primarily following Duane, a Vietnam vet, as he navigates a torrent of horrors and hardships. After a string of devastating events wipes out his family, Duane embarks on a quest for answers and revenge. This book floored me; I wasn't prepared for such a beautifully delicate yet intensely savage story. Pardon the pun, but there's plenty to sink your teeth into. From gruesome scenes of violence and moments of br...
