Many people actually loved Chosen by Denise Grover Swank... I have to wonder if there's something wrong with me? Honestly, it didn't quite click for me. I couldn't really warm up to either the plot or the characters in Chosen. I'm sincerely hoping my opinion will change in the next book.

Nope. I DNF'd Denise Grover Swank's Chosen at 40%. Just couldn't take it anymore. The boy was creepy, his mother was beyond annoying, and the male protagonist was a very boring version of a damaged hero. I am so not interested in how this plays out.

I'm clearly not in the majority with my opinion about Chosen. I was really excited to get to the end, not to see what happens, but so I could start a different book. I knew if I picked up another book in the middle of this one I'd never finish this story. Chosen had great potential, but it really did not pan out for me.
