I'm honestly a little baffled by "Azriel: A Fallen Angel's Desire". The writing style is pretty straightforward, with a simple, almost naive sense of humor woven throughout. But then it tackles really heavy stuff, like child abuse and trauma. The characters, created by Julie Mannino, are easy to root for, though, and the hurt/comfort dynamic is definitely satisfying. If you're looking for an angel romance book review that doesn't shy away from darker themes, this might be for you.
