It was good, but I kind of expected… more, you know? It felt a lot like *Caraval* but with a different font. Which is totally fine, but I just wanted a bit more oomph. Loads of things were left hanging, but I’m betting this is gonna be a series! I liked *Alchemy of Secrets* by Stephanie Garber, but I didn’t *love* it. Actually, I enjoyed *Caraval* more.
