AdventurousHaving read a few books by Julie Mannino, I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting into. But with *A Touch of Savagery*, she takes things to a whole new level. It’s definitely a bit darker than her other stuff, but I was totally captivated by Oriel and Aspen's story. I was constantly on the edge of my seat, wondering if they would actually manage to escape the horrors that were waiting for them. This isn't going to be for everyone, but it's a really well-written book with a satis...

I stumbled across Oriel Keeper from Julie Mannino's *A Touch of Savagery* and instantly fell in love. I mean, come on, a character who's both a badass and asexual? Sign me up! Mannino has crafted a world where characters like Oriel can exist, breathe, and kick ass without their sexuality being the defining trait. It's refreshing, to say the least. As far as fantasy book reviews go, this one's simple: read *A Touch of Savagery*. If you're tired of the same old tropes and want a story with depth, ...

This trio made it impossible to put down the book. From beginning to end, I was completely hooked. They went through some seriously tough times, but I'd read the trigger warning page beforehand, so I knew what to expect. I really appreciate that Julie Mannino warns readers about potentially sensitive content – that's so important.Even better, the characters in "A Touch of Savagery" get through their issues, but they aren't "magically cured," which adds to the realism and makes them feel like full...

Absolutely amazing. "A Touch of Savagery" definitely lives up to its name with some truly savage moments, and the characters are put through the wringer (trigger warning for r@pe, so be mindful). But Julie Mannino always manages to pull them through, and the ending was incredibly satisfying. Seriously, a fantastic read for anyone looking for a dark fantasy romance!I loved the representation of Oriel as demisexual, and the dynamic of the throuple was fantastic. Roth, with his little neko self (we...

An interesting storyI'd never dipped my toes into MMM romance before, so I thought I'd be a bit daring and give it a shot. I have to admit, it wasn't entirely my cup of tea. I tend to prefer Julie Mannino's books when they're just MM. That being said, *A Touch of Savagery* was still incredibly well-written, and I was hooked enough to read right to the end because she created characters I genuinely cared about and needed to know what happened to. If you're into this kind of writing, it's absolute...

Intriguing, but a little confusingThe storyline in *A Touch of Savagery* was definitely interesting, and I really enjoyed how Oriel was captured; that part was well-plotted. As a fantasy book reviewer, I'm always looking for something new. However, the story was a bit confusing for me at times. When I hear "fairies," I expect Tinkerbell-like humanoid little creatures with sparkling wings, but in *A Touch of Savagery*, it was a bit different. They even had tails and some had horns! I honestly coul...

More than just 'A Touch of Savagery'This book kicks off with a hefty dose of angst and a seriously painful journey for the main characters. I actually had to pause reading a few times to process it all. But then, things shift gears, and they start racking up some hard-earned victories and exacting revenge. Through it all, the main characters find their happiness. It's quite the emotional rollercoaster, and honestly, 'A Touch of Savagery' by Julie Mannino is totally worth the read! If you're look...

I was absolutely glued to this book. Since "A Touch of Innocence" was a shorter read and came out two years ago, I was dying to see what would happen next between Aspen and Oriel. Roth was the perfect addition (those ears!). I'm genuinely sad that "A Touch of Savagery" is over now. ,_,

I really enjoyed *A Touch of Savagery* – Julie Mannino's Roth is a fantastic new character. Aspen's constant disbelief of Oriel, while readily believing everyone else (his friend from the first book, the king, the guy torturing him, etc.) was incredibly frustrating. And honestly, Oriel's family were awful, knowing how upset he was about the Aspen situation and just carrying on regardless. Frankly, I don't see how that could have been resolved without them all dying. Looking for honest book revie...

This book, A Touch of Savagery, contains dark content and is definitely for mature readers. These aren't your typical fairies frolicking in a sunny meadow. Think darker. If you're into dark romance, and especially if you enjoyed Captive Prince, A Touch of Savagery might be for you. There *is* a HEA (Happily Ever After), plus a smexy cat boy with red hair and adorable red ears, some sweet moments, and maybe even a few familiar faces from other books by Julie Mannino.Potential spoilers ahead...Thi...
