I’m so incredibly happy right now! This novella gave me the closure I needed, and I can finally sleep in peace knowing these beautiful humans and monsters get their very well-deserved happily ever after.Told entirely from Wyn’s POV, this story was such a treat. Wyn’s humor had me laughing out loud, and every sweet gesture he made for Danny melted my heart. The audiobook was phenomenal—Wyn’s voice was perfectly unnerving and seductive, while Danny’s southern drawl was just the cutest thing ever. ...

Happiness achieved. It’s all Wyns perspective in this one which is nice. Also I completely forgot that there are more of his species. I was really confused at first 😂. The setting was through the rift! Which was super cool because I didn’t think we would ever get a look over there. I did want to meet more soul eaters but that’s fine. Danny and Wyn are happy, that’s all that matters. And Danny is so precious!! He is too pure for this monstrous world. I’m glad he has Wyn.

So, on re-listen, I think I'd give this closer to 4.5 stars. It's a beautiful little story, and I think Wyn and Danny are a special couple, but (and don't kill me) they just aren't my favorite in the series.
