Having met the Fenian Warriors in the Order of the Dragon Knights series, I was quite excited that readers were finally going to get to know them better and hear their stories. And now that I have read the first book in the Legends of the Fenian Warriors series, I have to tell you that it surpassed my expectations. Mary Morgan brings her worlds to vivid live with well written words and a gift for spinning a tale that makes readers believe in the unbelievable and easily draws them into the worlds...

DNF @Chapter 12. There are 34 chapters + an epilogue.I really do believe the plot has a great potential to be such a great story. No kidding. A Fae warrior who was punished because of a mistake he did long ago causing mess in a human's life and then he was sentenced to help a certain human's life to find her true identity. It was amazing. But the story felt drag making it a hard chore to read. I know I'm not even half yet but I can't take it anymore. The introduction took at least nine chapters,...

I met Mary Morgan at the Pleasanton Highland Games in 2017. Had a lovely conversation with her about her books, Scottish and Irish mythology, and Twilight. There are dragons in her stories so of course I bought all I could. So finally a year and half later I read one - Quest of a Warrior, Legends of the Fenian Warriors, Book 1. Very enjoyable read. Not easy to stop reading and attend to sleep or other things. Good descriptions with enough detail to get clear picture in mind. There are things to ...

For those that long to return to Neverland…Quest of a Warrior by Mary Morgan is a wonderfully magical tale set in mythical Ireland which features the fae, enchanted lands, inheritances and wrongs to be made right. It marks the debut of Mary’s new Legends of the Fenian Warriors fantasy series, a spin-off from her Dragon Knights series. It’s the first book I’ve ever read by this author but it’s already not the last! This is the story of Fenian Warrior Prince Conn MacRoich and American heiress Ivy ...

Conn and Ivy’s story is an inspired mix of contemporary mystery and mythic fantasy woven together seamlessly in a tasty tale of intrigue, lust and love.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! The cover is what intrigued me!!This is the first book in a new series that I think may be a spin-off of the Dragon Knights series, but it is my first time reading Mary’s work. This is a book for adults.I really like both Ivy and Conn! Conn has a sense of duty and loyalty th...

Fans of this author will no doubt recall that Conn first made an appearance in Dragon Knights Sword which is part of the Order of the Dragon Knights series. This new series centres around the Fenian Warriors of the Fae but I thought starting with their Prince was a wonderful idea. Conn has cut himself off from his royal heritage and duties to fully embrace his role as a Fenian Warrior but sometimes fate has other ideas. As a male capable of stepping through the veil of time Conn has closed a Gat...

One of the best........everI truly love Ms. Morgan's books, but this one is breathtaking. She brings her characters to life as if I were there through the entire story. She describes the land, flowers and especially the Fae Realm to the degree that I can almost smell Ivy's roses. This is one of the best and most beautifully written books I have ever read, and not once did I tire of it. Conn and Ivy's story is fascinating and lovely , even when I was fearful it was doomed at one point. Conn it's ...

I have always been fascinated with Celtic mythology, so it only made sense that I would develop and expand the world of the Fenian Fae Warriors. Theirs was a world rich in legends, colors, and senses. I’ve based my own fictional account on the legend of the Tuatha de Danann—one of the invasions of Ireland. They were known as the Shining Ones or the Fae.I hope you’ve enjoyed Conn and Ivy’s story. Conn first made an appearance in Dragon Knight’s Sword,Book 1 in the Order of the Dragon Knights. Whe...
