Really enjoyed this series. Super steamy, very dark, but just right.
I loved jagger and Luke's journey, and it was hawwwwt. But also sweet. So basically the perfect combination. Very short, not too much plot, and very lovable. Just what I wanted!

i've discovered i rather read a story with straight-up violent rape, than one with a rapist that convinces the victim they should be grateful for being treated so "nicely" and that "he doesn't enjoy seeing them suffer"

Quick prison romance with a very dominant guard and a semi willing prisoner. Definitely not a romance book in any way. Dubious consent at best. That being said, can't wait to read the next two books to see how these two evolve with each other.

Love prison romances. Sadly there is no romance here, just BDSM, so take note. The guard is just doing the MC a favor by granting him protection as long as he serves him. He is a sadist but was generally nice to Luke and it was all very formal given their status as prisoner and guard.

Jagger gave me chills at first, but it's prison so I wasn't expecting it to be like candy land or something. The way it's written made me feel like I'm watching it all happen
