Great read
I enjoyed this very much. I admit I had my doubts when it was labeled romance. The blurb and the cover didn’t give me that impression. I’m glad I was wrong. I enjoyed the healthy mix of sibling love, friendship, suspense, and of course, love.

This book reminds me a lot of the Princess Bride. The book is a fast paced, story.that is an action packed medieval adventure and is one that will keep readers turning the pages and engaging with a myriad of characters and enjoying the intriguing plot. .

From the beginning, I was drawn into Jack's Day - I could really connect with each character and even got angry at Jacknell on Fiona and the rest of the family's behalf. I loved the way Fiona and Charlotte met, it really highlighted solidarity between and amongst women. The story had me right through the book. This author has a lovely writing style that really draws in the reader and keeps them captivated until the end. A must-read.

This took me some time to read, but it was a delight to read. From the beginning until the end. Jack, and all his siblings all played such an important role in the book. But the dilemma is losing his brother! I love stories on when there is a kingdom and so much backstabbing and secrets to know about along the way. It was well written, and easy to follow. I am not going to say much. But if you are a fan of fantasy then I recommend this book! I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Wow, this had me hooked from start and all the way through. Its about Jack, his sister Fiona, and his love interest, Charlotte. Jack's a bit of a womanizer until Charlotte catches his heart. A war starts with the kingdom next door when Caleb tries to hurt the Princess Fiona. There's some twists and turns that up the interest. The action scenes were amazing.I like how north America is used but changed and split into kingdoms. Charlotte seems a bit weak at first, and but she grows as a character. ...

Gripping storylineAn action-packed adventure book that keeps the reader intrigued. The female character Charlotte escapes from a brothel and meets Princess Fiona, who would soon be wed to a royal prince.Fiona's brother Jack would not let the abusive brute marry his sister. Also Jack realises he is in love with Charlotte. However, a war starts with the neighbouring country and situation changes. The way Jack deals with the situation forms the latter part of the story. The gripping storyline and t...

Jacknellis a cruel king though and after he is killed Jack has to step up to rule the count...

I like it when there are clear good guys (of both genders) and clearly bad ones. These kingdoms are going around fighting wars with each other, and the royal family has to manage and live with the possibilities of being forced to marry against one's will. Better to just hope the men go off, with their swords and armor, and settle the thing for good. Which they do, pretty much. It's interesting and moves along well.

Jack’s Day is a riveting action-packed adventure entwined with multifaceted characters struggling through conflicts while finding love. Ruling with integrity and compassion verses heavy-handed cruelty sets the stage for Jack’s family to find their way through the darkness that threatens to consume their kingdom. Julie Mannino has crafted an outstanding novel leaving the reader wanting more in this series about an Alternate Earth. Readers will rejoice in the struggles and victories in Chloe’s Pur...
