Great time travel novel. The story of a teen who grows to be a man in ancient Israel, all the while thinking he'd been taken in during modern times by some sort of Amish Israeli group who stayed away from technology. After some many months (years?) he learns that he is in the past and living with the Canaanites and that God had just parted the Red Sea for Moses about 40-some years earlier.

More Biblical than Scott's other Christian Fiction or Christian Sci-Fi novels and this isn't a complaint. I'm just stating that he was bound by more of the Biblical story in order to write this novel rather than get full use of his imagination. Great story of time travel and he does manage to throw in a cast of fictional characters to create a nice storyline
