A review from Between the Pages Book Blog!Dragon Knight's Sword(Order of the Dragon Knights Book 1)By: Mary MorganRating:⭐⭐⭐⭐My heart and mind still remain slightly dazzled days after finishing this novel. Perhaps the reader unknowingly keeps a sliver of the mystical fae portrayed in these pages so cleverly woven by author Mary Morgan. I have read stories in the past depicting magical fae beings but never have I read a novel so cleverly pieced together in both imagination and heart. "Listen and ...

Mary Morgan is fast becoming my new favourite romance author. Dragon Knight's Sword is an evocative tale that combines historical with fantasy, modern day with old, and it will keep you turning those pages right until the end.I adored the characterisation of Brigid. She is thrown into a world that is unrecognisable and dangerous, but she is drawn to the rugged Highlander, Duncan Mackay, like no man from her time. Duncan wants to die, but the fae has a different destiny in mind for him that will ...

Dragon Knight's Sword was an ok read for me. I loved the concept and I always love the Fae. Unfortunately while there were things I enjoyed I found the overall book just ok and lacking in many parts. While I'm curious about the other brothers I doubt I would bother reading their stories.

Dragon Knight's Sword, the 1st book in the Order of the Dragon Knights series was epic. Anyone who read my review of Dragon Knight's Ring which was the 5th book in the series knows that I loved that one so much I went on over to Amazon and bought all the other books. And I'm so glad I did. I am so glad I took a chance and got Dragon Knight's Ring from Netgalley. I never heard of Mary Morgan before and I would have totally missed out on this awesome series that I am enjoyi...

Dragon Knight's Sword is the first book I have read by Mary Morgan. I discovered her, Order of the Dragon Knight's Series, while attending a Facebook party for another author. I won the 2nd book in the series, Dragon Knight's Medallion, so I decided to purchase this book for my Kindle. I am very glad that I did! I would've missed out on a wonderful book if I hadn't.This book is a Time Travel/Paranormal Romance. Parts of it are set in the present day, and parts are 800 years in the past. Time Tra...

DNF at 20%Unfortunately I didn't have much luck with time-travel either... :(The writing style irked me since the first page. I got the feeling that the story was told like a screenplay of a greek tragedy: pompous and exaggerated. I didn't liked it at all. While reading I was feeling like the book thought I was an idiot and has to stress everything in order to hammer it in my thick head. Also the "hero" was not to my liking. In one instance while discussing a painful topic, he puts his hands aroun...

This isn't for me.
There is too much back and forth between the present and the past, too much whimsy, and too much of the heroine whispering out loud to herself. Constantly.
So, sadly, just not for me.

This is absolutely one of my favorite books. It reminded me of the old Harlequin books with the highlander and the maiden on the front. I got swept away in the romance. I felt all of the emotions the author portrayed. While I'm not a particular fan of historical romances, the paranormal element of magic and fae along with the time-travel added just what I needed to really enjoy this book. I could not put it down. I have started book 2 and pre-ordered book 3. I also liked that it was a full lengt...

I want to start by saying I have waited for this book since the day Mary mentioned she was trying to find a publisher. I knew, at that moment, this story would be a worthy read. I felt it to my core....and it is!Descended from the Tuatha de Danann, half human, half fae, they are the Guardians of the Dragons....The Dragon Knights. With the coming of Christianity, the dragons perished - all but one. The Mackay Clan took her out of Eire into Scotland. An evil order destroyed the clan and the guardi...
