This is such a great series - full of ancient lore, magnificent scenery, and startling twists and turns. There’s magic and family and soul-deep romance. This book centers on the eldest brother Angus and Deirdre, but all the brothers and their wives are in the story. It’s so good!

I enjoyed this book tremendously and did not want to stop listening until I was finished it. Angus and Deirdre are both strong and likeable. Mary Morgan weaves a wonderful story and she takes you on their journey with skill and finesse. I cried with them and was afraid for them, wanting more and more as the story developed. There are also several other characters who fit into the storyline with such skill that you are anxious to hear about their stories as well. This book is definitely a must an...

4 Warrior Woman Stars
Dragon Knight's Shield the 4th book in the Order of the Dragon Knights series was hard for me to rate. See I loved loved loved the heroine Deirdre. She was so kickass, sassy, and brave. A total warrior woman. I loved the plot and the continuation of the on going story. What I didn't care for was Angus. I didn't hate him but I didn't like him. He was stubborn to the point of being stupid and putting everyone in danger. Because I didn't care for Angus, their love story was...

did not finish.i tried ya'll i really did. i have a soft spot in my heart for scottish romances. and for time travel stories. and for stories with the fae. and anything to do with druids. but for all of that, there needs to be a compelling story, intriguing characters, and a believable romance. after reading 47% of the book, i still had not found any of those things. the book started slow. it introduced a ton of characters in a short amount of time. (do i need to remember morven, murdock, egan, ...

Having failed his brothers and his clan, Angus MacKay fights the darkness of despair wanting to claim his soul until he takes Deirdre captive and his the fire dragon inside him roars to claim the one woman fate has destined for him in this pulse-pounding paranormal romance. I was flabbergasted at how well Mary Morgan fit Deirdre’s character into the Medieval Scotland culture, and she was the perfect heroine to Angus’s hero and since I don’t want to give too much away, I’ll stop there and say tha...

Originally Reviewed For: Tea and BookMary Morgan does it again! For those of you who haven't yet read her Dragon Knight's Series, I suggest you start. It's a wonderful compilation of Medieval Scotland and modern day women. A time traveler series that follows similar themes as Melissa Mayhue's Daughters of the Glen Series. While they are definitely two different series with unique possibilities both have the magic of time travel written in beautifully. So yes, I compare.. Deirdre Flanagan has a g...

Dragon Knight's Shield, the fourth book in the Dragon Knight's Series. Mary has done it again. She brings a world of excitement, mystery, action and love to you in a book. Amazingly written that you feel like you are a part of it. With this book, there are twists and turns, shockers and OMG, I wish I was her moments.I love Angus and his struggle i no different than any other brother. Just in a different way does it effect him and how he deals with things. He is the oldest of the four brothers so...

Another absolutely marvellous time-travel story. I love this series. Deirdre Flanagan is a successful author. She has trained in lots of different forms of martial arts, only for research purposes of course. Now she is off on a tour Ireland and Scotland that her friends bought her for her birthday. The highland mist will take her further than she thinks. Angus MacKay is a Knight on the tourney circuit , but rumours of evil stalking his homeland will draw him home. He has a small advantage when h...
