3.5 The beast Stars
Dragon Knight's Axe the 3rd book in the Order of the Dragon Knights series was really good for me til this one part pissed me off causing me to drop my rating from a 4 star to a 3.5 star. Book 3 is Fiona and Alastair Mackay's story. Alastair is a darker hero than the previous two. I really liked Alastair and his beastly ways. I did however get really upset over some crap he pulled and it made me drop the rating Fiona was in a coma and Alastair freaked when he was told she ...

Originally Reviewed For: Tea and BookI am the first to say that Mary Morgan's, Order of the Dragon Knights Series is steeped in legend, has grand sweeping landscapes and epic lovestories.. It is a fantastic series that combines some of Scotland's known legends with sheer fantasy. It has time travel and Druids, Dashing Heroes in need of redemption and strong Heroines willing to believe in the impossible. The first two books Dragon Kinght's Sword and Dragon Knight's Medallion are beyond spectacula...

Fun wonderful ride
Another excellent book contributing to the redemption of the Dragon Nights! Alastair is a deeply scarred soul when he rescues Fiona but the path of their story is filled with bumps and pain before they finally reach the end of his quest. Definitely enjoyable!

Alastair MacKay escaped to the sea but when he rescues a woman from a slave trader in Ireland he inadvertently steps back into the world of magic and takes on the role of protector once more in this enthralling paranormal fantasy romance. The author has created a fascinating world full of intriguing characters and I fall in love with each brother as I read their stories and I really can’t wait to read Angus’ story. Note: you could read these out of order because each brother’s story is his own, ...

The third brother Alastair MacKay meets his match with Fiona O’Quinlan in Dragon's Knight's Axe by Mary Morgan. Alastair’s story is a darker than the first two brothers’ stories. However, I enjoyed it just as much and Alastair’s redemption is so much the sweeter for the beast that waging war within him. There is an old world quality about Fiona as if she is an old soul stuck in the modern world. For me indoor plumbing would be a hard line but for her not so much. Together these two sizzle so it ...

I was revved up for this one, because I’ve already fallen in love with the series and the author’s writing. And true to form I was pulled into a fantastic story within the first paragraph in 1206. I was fighting a vicious sea, spewing water from my mouth, slashing rain and wind so strong I was brought to my knees. Was I headed overboard? Whoa! What an opening. This series has time travel. Why do I love it so? It’s because traveling to the past is NOT something each heroine in the series wants. Eac...

I love these brothers! Another wonderful story in the Dragon Knights series. It was a bit darker and more deeply emotional than the other two but no less beautiful in the love story. I can't wait for the next one and hopefully be treated to all the brothers and their families again.
