Yes, I have a lot of books, and if this is your first visit to my amazon author page, it can be a little overwhelming. If you are new to my work, let me recommend a few titles as good places to start. I love my Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series, humorous horror/mysteries, which begin with DEATH WARMED OVER. My steampunk...

Another entry that is far better than some of the middle of the series. Trouble on Cloud City (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #13) by Kevin J. Anderson is very good for what it is—a must-read for any fan looking for a solid book review of the series.

Another fun romp. Getting through the middle of Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson was a bit of a slog, but there were definitely some cool moments worth sticking around for. If you are looking for a quick Star Wars read to add to your collection, this one delivers enough excitement to keep you entertained.

Once again, the action and adventure in Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson are a total blast. I absolutely love this world and the extra layers that keep getting added to it. I just wish these books were a bit longer so we could dive deeper into the details of the storyline. It’s really great to see the characters maturing and starting to form more age-appropriate relationships with one another.I’m not entirely sure I’m on board with how the discussions around Anja’s drug addiction were ...

In this penultimate entry of the Young Jedi Knights series, Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson raises the stakes, introduces deadly dangers, and explores themes much more mature than anything we’ve seen in previous installments. If you're looking for a gripping Star Wars book review, this is a must-read.
Probably the best part of this book is the dynamic between Jacen and Tenel Ka. We have seen their friendship wax and wane throughout the series, and while the audience clearly recognize...

It was such a cute read, and honestly, it was great to see the Solo kids back on Cloud City. I really enjoyed watching Anja’s character continue to evolve and grow throughout the story. Even better was seeing Tenel Ka finally deal with some competition for Jacen’s attention; it was the perfect push for her to finally admit to herself that she likes him and values him as a friend. And that ending where she actually attempts to crack a joke? It genuinely put a smile on my face. If you are looking ...

I ended up reading Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson twice because I accidentally started this trilogy out of order. XD If you're looking for a fun Star Wars book review to dive into, this is a must-read for fans of the series.

And it’s hologram funworld part 2! Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson is an interesting adventure, but it honestly feels a bit less substantial than many of the other entries in the series. It feels like this story should have been spread across two books instead of just one, so a lot of the plot points feel glossed over, even with so many events packed in. Since this final story arc only spans three books—as opposed to the five-book arcs we saw earlier in the series—that might be the co...

While not inherently bad, Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson was much more boring than it ought to have been, which is a real shame because Cloud City is always a place bristling with storytelling possibilities. Do the authors realize that constantly recycling Original Trilogy lines for our lead characters is no longer charming after a point and actually makes the Star Wars universe feel much smaller? A solid 2 1/2 stars for this sci-fi book review.

3.5 stars. If you are looking for a nostalgic trip back into the Expanded Universe, Trouble on Cloud City by Kevin J. Anderson is a solid addition to the Young Jedi Knights series. While it may not reach the heights of the earlier installments, it captures that classic Star Wars charm that fans of the franchise truly crave. The story flows well, and seeing these young characters navigate the complexities of Cloud City provides an engaging read for both longtime followers and newcomers to the ser...

This installment manages to capture that classic Star Wars charm while focusing on the next generation of heroes.
