A collection of 16 stories by Robert Silverberg centered around time travel, *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel* offers a mixed bag for sci-fi fans.

More than the much-lauded "To Byzantium," I find "Hawksbill Station" to be the most "palatable," profound (and political) story in the entire book. If you're looking for thought-provoking time travel stories, Robert Silverberg's *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel* is worth a look, even if it's not all gold.

A genuinely excellent collection of time travel stories. If you're looking for a great anthology to dive into, Robert Silverberg's 'Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel' is a solid choice. Definitely one of the better time travel books out there!

When I was a kid, I devoured sci-fi and fantasy books. I was more into fantasy, especially authors like Piers Anthony, Terry Brooks, and J.R.R. Tolkien, but I also read some Asimov, Bradbury, and Heinlein. One day, browsing the shelves at the Eastham Library, I found this massive book that looked incredible, and it was! That book was *Lord Valentine's Castle*, and it was my introduction to Robert Silverberg. Whenever I needed a break from fantasy, I'd always come back to Silverberg. So, on a rec...

It's okay. Having read some of these stories in past decades, it was interesting to see them all collected in *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel*. Some date way, way back to the late 1960s, while others are far more current. However, I was perplexed by how many themes remained nearly identical, despite the imaginative and differentiating characterizations and circumstances. And from the book's description, I thought that some of the stories would be from peers of those eras. N...

**Full disclosure: I received *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel* in exchange for an honest review.**I have to admit, time travel isn't my favorite story theme. In fact, it usually ends up annoying the bejeezus out of me because it's so easy to “cheat” and just handwave away conflicts and problems with timey-wimey stuff.Which makes it odd that I requested *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel* as an early review book, but I did so on purpose. I was curious how I woul...

Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel is an anthology of sixteen time-travel short stories by Robert Silverberg. That is a completely true statement that fails to capture the vastness of this book at all. Silverberg is a prolific science-fiction writer known for his fascination with time travel, so a collection of his short stories makes perfect sense. He writes short introductions to the stories that put them in the context of his life and writing career, including his work with edi...

Few subjects are as mind-bending as time, especially when you throw time travel and all its paradoxes into the mix. Hand that topic over to the very capable Robert Silverberg, and you've got a fantastic read. This collection, *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel*, is brilliant, tackling time from all sorts of angles. Some stories are simply set in different eras, not necessarily focused on time travel itself. But a couple dive headfirst into the paradoxes, and those, in my opinion,...

Robert Silverberg was one of the first science fiction authors I remember reading as a young adult. His stories always seemed to have that special something… that rush I get when a story completely sweeps you away. It's no wonder he's considered one of the masters of science fiction. In this anthology of time travel stories, *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel*, Silverberg explores the various problems and contradictions that time travel could create. Even though it's a collection ...

Robert Silverberg is rightfully considered a legend in science fiction. In this collection, *Time and Time Again: Sixteen Tales of Time Travel*, he gathers sixteen of his time travel stories, spanning his career from the 1950s until his retirement in 2009. Time travel is a perennially fascinating fantasy, brimming with paradoxes and thought experiments. Silverberg explores numerous time travel concepts in these stories. The collection offers a fantastic variety of tales, each unique and compelli...
