Simon W. Clark's "Think Fast or Die" is a truly excellent thriller, one that deserves far more recognition. Clark crafts bizarre, unsettling worlds with vivid detail. What really makes this book shine, though, is the characters. Every single one, from the protagonist to the most minor player, feels startlingly real and capable of anything. If you're looking for a great thriller book review, look no further than "Think Fast or Die."

I absolutely loved getting inside Rick's head; it drops you right into the thick of things. You can't help but feel like you're right there beside him, his partner in crime. He's a true professional, and the way he cleverly navigates the challenges of his missions is impressive. I'm not usually a fan of open endings, so I'm really hoping for a sequel soon, because that ending definitely feels like a setup for something bigger. I'm giving "Think Fast or Die" by Simon W. Clark 4 stars, only becaus...

The Life of a SpyThe title *Think Fast or Die* really grabs your attention. It's about the life of a spy named Rick, and Simon W. Clark doesn't pull any punches. He throws you right into the thick of real-world horrors like terrorism and human/sex trafficking. It's genuinely fascinating (and disturbing) to get a look inside the minds of the people who commit these atrocities. They're driven by greed and have absolutely no regard for human life. One of the best parts of *Think Fast or Die* is Sat...

I'm usually more of a romance reader, but I picked up "Think Fast or Die" by Simon W. Clark to connect with my son, who's completely absorbed in spy thrillers. I must say, it's been a fun, exciting, and bonding experience for both of us. "Think Fast or Die" took us on an exciting, fast-paced journey. Simon W. Clark kept us on the edge of our seats at every turn, whether in the sandy deserts of Syria or bustling Karachi. That Rick Jenson just can't seem to stay out of trouble!Simon W. Clark took ...

Reading *Think Fast or Die* felt like I was watching a movie, or observing real events unfold through binoculars. When I started the first few chapters, covering the purchase of Hiraj’s medallion, a meeting with Al-Kannad, stealing guns from Renza, and preventing the TCB Tower bombing, I thought I’d already seen the climax. Boy, was I wrong! The introduction of Debbie Sumner opened up a whole new world, and the story rocketed to another level. What follows is a thrilling, suspenseful ride as Ric...

I'm not usually one for spy novels, but the plot and Simon W. Clark's writing style completely hooked me.The main character, Rick, is a bit of a rough diamond, but he definitely knows how to get things done. I really enjoyed reading about his 'survival techniques,' from his in-the-field tactics to his personal vices. Plus, he meets a whole host of interesting and diverse characters along the way.Clark creates incredibly vivid settings, which really pulls you into the story and builds the tension...

Think Fast or Die by Simon W. Clark is an absolutely heart-pounding ride, delivering a great narrative populated with interesting people and places. The action kicks off in the Middle East, plunging us straight into the thick of it as the main character, Rick, is deep undercover in the Pakistani desert. From the very first page, you're hooked. This book has it all—ancient artifacts, high-powered guns, and dangerous terrorist cells. It's a perfect blend for anyone looking for an action-packed th...

A solid espionage thriller! The memorable characters and constant twists and turns completely captivated me. It's an excellent mix of drama, suspense, and well-placed humor. The predicaments the main character finds himself in – and sometimes creates for himself – are diverse and consistently engaging. I especially appreciated how Rick, a true loner, learns the hard way that he *has* to depend on others at times to survive in a foreign land. I even picked up some compelling historical facts and ...
